F R I E N D S I N B E A U T I F U L P L A C E S. In the thick of the pandemic, our amazingly talented friends @martinrbourne and @patriciaheal, besties and upstate NY neighbors, reached out to us wanting to “play” with our newest fabrics and wallpapers since they were cooped up, seeking inspiration and objects upon which to bestow their (seemingly endless) fonts of creativity. We gave them entirely free rein, sending them yardage and wallpapers and told them to go nuts. Here: what their sessions of play yielded, July 2020. Founded in Los Angeles in 1905, CW Stockwell has spent more than a century creating distinctive fabrics and wallcoverings that pair exceptional craftsmanship with a playful approach to design.

Now in its fourth generation, the storied design house is best known for Martinique®, the iconic banana leaf pattern introduced in 1942, and famously installed at The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Drawing on more than a century of original designs, CW Stockwell’s archive directly inspires each wallpaper and fabric, which are hand-screen printed in Los Angeles. With JOY, a collection of woven performance fabrics created with Sunbrella®, those spirited designs now head outdoors, UV-stabilized and rated for exterior use. by @cwstockwell

We’re captivated by @sabahmansoordesign’s work at her team’s Menlo Park office - using two of our fave florals 😍 Flowerette in Black covers the walls and ceiling of one of the rooms, with matching accent pillows for maximum impact. In another space, Remy in Bloom is paired with modern graphic fabrics and the perfect shade of pale pink. Work doesn’t feel like work when you get to work here!!
