10 year anniversary of Jules’s Make-A-Wish trip💫 kinda insane it’s been that long but despite the health issues that lead to the trip and the ones that followed we wouldn’t change a thing. Dear Hannah, this is your wish day too and we wish you were still here to celebrate it, I’ve never been able to look at a dandelion without remembering how excited you were in the video of the first time you were able to blow on one after your lung transplant.

The end of Mockingjay says it best: “What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again.” Thank you Make-A-Wish for being the dandelion in the spring by @cxspersen

It’s giving “I know what you are.” “Say it. Out loud.”

@artistsarahmckendry misty forest class and years of Bob Ross binges and blending eyeshadow came in handy, not bad for one of my first oil paintings:’) using W&N phthalo blue, indigo, sap green, Payne’s gray, titanium white and lamp black by @cxspersen

This was my cameras redemption arc after my sd card corrupted during the eclipse I had prepped 4 months for

I saw the multicoloured ones around 2-3am when the app said there was an 11% chance and barely saw any at 95% so you never know, we most likely can see them tonight too if you missed them!!! (okay looking at this now I edited the green to be wayyyy too intense but in my defence my migraine glasses are pink and neutralize it lol) taken in Hamilton, Ontario by @cxspersen

To my Papa bear,

I’m so glad I got my chance to spend time with you this summer and to say my goodbyes, though I didn’t know it would be our last for now. I hope it’s not. I hope wherever you end up I’ll see you there one day. I’ll miss sitting on the couch with you complaining about “the sucky soaps” mom and nanny left on, or worse the dreaded hallmark movie channel around Christmas. I’m glad you had a long and beautiful life and passed on your terms in your sleep surrounded by love, and despite you being the only grandfather I met, you were the best damn one anyone could’ve asked for. I’ll miss your great advice like to “hold my breath for 20 mins and boom your headache is gone”. Or how everyday you’d jokingly ask “who’s turn is it to eat?” (We never came up with a clear answer) Or how you called yourself baldie locks despite still having hair. You will always be the best and you’ll always be with me no matter where I go

Love you forever, your favourite bun-head Miss Trina-ballerina by @cxspersen
