We have a lot of beautiful things in Peoria and a lot of beautiful people. So it’s really cool when my kids’ school gets to partake in a fun collaboration with a local coffee shop, @cxtcoffee
@spaceisokay has made a wonderful churro syrup to go with this fundraiser and I got the opportunity to make the flier for such an occasion 💜
Please come out to their Keller Station Location to support @ppsmcdla

“During our fall break, we are very fortunate to be collaborating with a local coffee shop, CxT. From October 7th-14th a portion of sales will go towards our school…Multicultural Dual Language Academy, a school within district 150 that is teaching both Spanish and English to kids grade K-4. The students have gotten to color a few coffee sleeves each while reading a book about Frida Kahlo in the library this past week. We know their patterns and beautiful drawings will be appreciated by anyone that buys a drink. On top of that we’ve gotten to meet with the CxT owners to have a homemade churro syrup to pair well in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Made by Arielle, a syrup making genius.. you can get a latte, a steamer (no espresso), or even an italian soda with the churro flavor. They have many other enjoyable drinks as well. We would encourage you to go try it :)”
