7/18 dome plays distant castle on frankly an offensively sick bill, do not miss this shit for fuccin real

7/22 dome plays the sil on a bill that was supposed to happen a million years ago but due to nonsense didnt, thank god we are remedying that tbh !!!!

7/24 kidBULLY is gonna get loud at nice fest so get ready for some loud ass beats amongst all those guitars

7/26 dome plays a benefit for let cubs live on a certified punk rock ripper so roll thru for a good cause at the best venue the CCC

thinking a lot recently about the idea of respect in various forms. what it means to respect yourself others ideas art etc and also what it means to receive it in different contexts. probably because ive been ruminating on a lot of disrespect the past few weeks lmao

i have come to few conclusions

the purgatory of hell world and feeling my own agency more than ever is a strange circle to square
and as i find more ways to care for myself and those around me the shades and shape of respecting oneself become more intertwined and intricate and hard to make a story of
losing the need for narrative feels necessary but that requires surrendering to the fact there is no one solution, no one “respect” whether it be self or otherwise

i hate when its vague but it always is it seems

at least the shapes and colors are a bit prettier these days and proud for it

things have been good for the most part
after this week i am out of the “booking gigs like im still unemployed” zone and will be able to start working on gettin some routines back in my life
am proud of how ive been able to just do the thing and show up and do what i gotta and am happy that im now in the balancing period
.
got lowkey assaulted at a gig (mid set no less) the other day and that has put me in a lil bit of a funk so thats annoying
really hate how harassment intersects with dysphoria for real!!
but im thankful for my pals for lookin out for me at the gig and for helpin me chat thru stuff always
.
been reflecting on doin the lil panel w chand last week and how good it felt to be more open and forward about being autistic
been trying to employ that in my day to day when it comes up and damn it feels good to be able to communicate where im at without shame or caveats
.
hopefully will be working on some music of my own now that i have a moment to collect myself, some of this stuff is starting to get realllllllyyyyy old and just needs be done good god
.
i love music i love chandler i love my friends i love the tiny people in my phone from all across the land

5/30 im speaking on a panel led by my sweet bb @chandl0 about being neurodivergent and trans !! come thru and hear me babble about being autistic and a huge transsexual

6/1 playing in body void in portland with friggin hell !! punishing evening of loud guitars come thru mainers

6/4 gluskab plays deadbeats for a free lil quickie gig !! come get a beer and listen to dbeats at dbeats

6/7 dome plays ccc on a rippin lineup sure to please that will be over by 10 so you can go get some good sleep !!

6/21 mulching in allston somewhere w tba stay tuned

this is the busiest ive been in about a decade and i gotta say im quite proud of how im doing and able to show up and get everything done. work has been absolutely cooked and so many gigs and other obligations but im more equipped than ever to take it on and bitch shes doing it!!

eternally grateful for my friends, chandler, bandmates, acquaintances, and miscellaneous cheerleaders i am so lucky to have in my life

havent felt it in a long time but ALWAYS LOUDER FOREVER for real

maybe some time ill figure out when to release all this backlogged music that is just sitting around at this point

ok business first this friday in new bedford, muchling rides again!
.
after the gig on my bday lulu sent me this message and it hit me like a ton of bricks. i think back to even a year ago and i would not have imagined things are like they are now, let alone four.

i was tempted by nostalgia to see what i was posting on this damned website around then and not only was i in fact hardly able to sleep and playing through DS1-3, but the day before my birthday i took my homemade trans pride flag off my jacket. i felt so ashamed, afraid, and infinitely far away from life feeling like i knew how to live it. trapped and cornered and unable to escape the prison id help construct for myself, not seeing a door in a windowless suffocating room.

reread what i wrote on my birthday last year and am happy to report that i did so much of what i set out to do.
its been a year of love, hardship, joy amongst pain, euphoria, reflection, and most importantly growth.
i never thought i would want to celebrate myself like i did this year. i never thought i could be proud enough of how far ive come do deserve such indulgences. such kindness.

the thing that has really trapped me for so long is the need to make sense to people, feeling like i had to behave in a way that was digestible and nonthreatening even to the most wretched individual that would hate my ass anyways. i wrote last year about not wanting to carry that burden anymore and im happy to report that in many ways i have freed myself of this previously unshakable need.

i think about the woman i was for so many years and its hard to not feel sad for her, but i try to remember her strength even in dark times. if only she could see how far shed go to live life as she wanted. how much she would want to be in the world and with the people in it. how proud she would become. how beautiful she would feel. how loved she was/is/and would be.

i am endlessly grateful for the people that have supported me, cared for me in dark times, laughed me in happy ones, and shown me love and grace throughout.

this was the best birthday i ever had and i cant wait for more.

but starting on my bday weve got a couple heaters in a row !!

4/16 mulching at news on an absolutely stacked bill holy shit what a friggin gift that will be !!! so so so excited

4/17 sexisinsanity at pyxis on an industrial ass bill come shake ass or else!! it will be a heaterrrrrrr

4/19 gluskab at as220 on a good ol fashioned hardcore type bill with shredders only !! i play bass now come thru and see me turn to dust under the weight of a t40

4/20 still hoping something will pan out so stay tuned on that

right now i am in the throes of readjusting to actually living life like i want to. it feels amazing. in celebration here are some photos from the last few months (except the dome one but i was thinkin of it the other day) of me and some people i hold dear and am so lucky to have in my life ^<_^

next week of gigs i am sleepy and my body hurts but the gig calls my name !!

3/31 sexisinsanity at as220 for a tdov fundraiser, insane ass bill(!) so come support good stuff were gonna be so fuccin visible

4/4 dome mulch double header at CCC for a top surgery benefit, im more biased but the bill is sick ;)

been doing a lot of reflecting on the last 6 years since i last had a steady gig. thinking about where i was at then and where im at now is insane. ive been so fortunate to be able to take that time to get my shit together and im letting myself be proud of the work ive done on myself. and i even feel pretty nice in my skin these days 🥰
