Did you know AI agents now outnumber human users inside enterprise systems, and most of them are completely ungoverned?I flew to NYC to dig into exactly this problem. SailPoint launched SailPoint Agentic Fabric at the Nasdaq MarketSite and I wanted to hear directly from the people who built itAI agents operate at machine speed, access sensitive data, and most organizations have zero visibility into how many are even running in their environment right now.I got to sit down with their CTO and spend the day with their executives talking about what non-human identity security actually looks like in practice. The thing that stuck with me: the threat isn’t theoretical anymore. Companies are already exposed and don’t know it.If your organization is deploying AI agents, non-human identity governance needs to be part of the conversation.#Cybersecurity #SailPoint #AgenticFabric #AIAgents #IdentitySecurity by @cybersecuritygirl

7 things I no longer do with my phone as a Cybersecurity expert: 1. Never use SMS as your two-factor authentication.Text-based codes can be intercepted. Through something called a SIM swap attack, a criminal can trick your carrier into transferring your phone number to their device and get into your accounts. Use an authenticator app instead.2. Never leave Bluetooth on when you’re not using it.Bluetooth is a wireless signal anyone nearby can probe. Turn it off when you’re out in public.3. Never reuse the same password across multiple accounts. If one account gets breached, every account with that same password is now compromised. A password manager makes it easy to have unique passwords for everything.4. Never click links in text messages you weren’t expecting.Smishing is phishing via text and it is one of the fastest growing scams right now. Even if it looks like it’s from your bank, go directly to the app or website instead.5. Never plug into a public USB charging station.A charging port can also be a data port. Cybersecurity experts have shown that ordinary-looking cables can give a hacker full remote access to your device. Bring your own charger and plug into a wall outlet.6. Never ignore software updates.Updates patch security vulnerabilities. Every day you delay is a day hackers can exploit what has already been fixed.7.Never save passwords in your Notes app. (Unless you have it biometrically locked down) Your Notes app is not encrypted. If someone gets into your phone, they get everything. Use a password manager instead.Follow @cybersecuritygirl for more iPhone safety tips by @cybersecuritygirl

Ten things I’d tell parents to stop doing for their kids’ online safety. ⬇️ 1: Stop making it scary to come to you. Your kid clicks a bad link or sees something weird? They need to know you’ve got their back, not that they’re in trouble. 2: Stop thinking parental controls are enough. They’re a tool, not a solution. You gotta actually talk to your kids about why these rules exist. 3: Stop ignoring where your kids actually are online. They’re on gaming platforms and private messaging apps, so should your awareness. 4: Stop pretending scams won’t happen to them. Talk about the real threats. Fake friend requests. Sextortion. Too-good-to-be-true giveaways. This is literally what I break down every week, so follow me to stay sharp on what’s actually out there. 5: Stop letting them chat with people they’ve never met in person. If they haven’t met them IRL, they shouldn’t be in their DMs. 6: Stop ignoring what they’re posting. School name, location tags, daily routines, that’s a roadmap for predators. 7: Stop being hands-off. You don’t need to be creepy about it, but you gotta stay engaged. 8: Stop assuming one talk is enough. Online safety isn’t a one-time conversation. It’s something you circle back to as they grow and new threats pop up. 9: Stop monitoring in secret. Be transparent about it. Tell them you’re checking in and why. Frame it as protection, not surveillance, so they get that it’s about keeping them safe. 10: Stop waiting for a problem to happen. Prevention beats crisis management every single time. follow @cybersecuritygirl for more online safety tips (And if you’ve made it this far, Comment “guide”’ to grab your free child safety guide 😊) by @cybersecuritygirl

North Korean spies are getting hired…Not through phishing. Not through malware.Through actual IT jobs inside real companies. This “wage mole” tactic is one of the wildest insider-threat stories in cyber right now: intelligence operators getting placed as remote workers, doing real tickets, and potentially using legitimate access from the inside. The breach doesn’t always start with a hack.Sometimes it starts with onboarding.Want to dive deeper?
