To open your home to someone is an act of kindness, but to make that person feel truly part of your family is something very special. It takes a heart full of generosity, warmth and love.

From the moment I arrived, you welcomed me with open arms and so much affection. You made me feel comfortable, included and cared for, as though I had known you for much longer. During my time with you, I didn’t feel simply like a guest. I felt part of your family, and that means more to me than I can express.

I will always remember the beautiful meals we shared, the conversations, the laughter, the smiles and all those little moments together that made my time in Slovenia so special. Everything was given with such genuine kindness and from the heart, and I felt it in every moment.

I came to Slovenia to spend time with Eva and to get to know the people and the place she comes from, but I’m leaving with something much more precious: beautiful memories and a family that I will always carry very close to my heart.

Thank you for welcoming me, for your generosity, for making me feel so comfortable and, above all, for making me feel that I belonged.

I may have arrived as Eva’s partner and as your guest, but I left feeling like I had gained another family. That is something I will treasure forever.

Until we are all together again, please know that a little piece of my heart stayed with you in Slovenia. Thank you for every hug, every smile, every meal and every beautiful moment. I already miss you all. ❤️

🚴‍♀️💙 WE DID IT! LONDON TO BRIGHTON 2026! 💙🚴‍♂️

Yesterday, my brother Alex and I crossed the finish line in Brighton, and it was so much more than just completing a bike ride.

Every mile, every hill, every moment when our legs were tired had a purpose. We rode together to support the Alzheimer’s Society and everyone whose life has been touched by dementia. 💙

To every single person who donated, shared our fundraising page, sent us messages, encouraged us and believed in us: THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

Knowing that people were behind us gave us the strength to keep going all the way from London to Brighton.

Crossing that finish line was emotional. We felt proud, grateful and incredibly lucky to have shared this experience as brother and sister. 🥹🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

And the fundraising doesn’t have to finish at the finish line. If you wanted to support us but haven’t had the chance yet, there’s still time to donate. Every contribution matters and helps support people and families affected by dementia.

Amor ❤️, you know, I’ve been thinking about this idea of an invisible thread connecting people meant to meet, no matter how different their paths seem. Life throws us detours, missed chances, and all sorts of twists, yet somehow, something keeps pulling those threads together until the perfect moment arrives. When I look back, I realise how many little coincidences had to happen for us to cross paths — a delay, a choice, or a different route could’ve changed everything. Maybe that’s why our meeting feels so special — not because the universe planned every detail, but because everything we’ve lived before made us the people we needed to be. At first glance, you see a little girl walking to school 👧📚, dressed in white and calm. But look closer—the racist slur 🖤, the letters “KKK” 💔, the smashed tomato 🍅, and the unseen crowd’s anger surround her. This is Ruby Bridges in 1960, just six years old, escorted by U.S. Marshals to an all-white school. Her courage is unimaginable ✊🏽. The painting “The Problem We All Live With” reminds us that racism is everyone’s problem ⚠️, not just history or someone else’s issue. Ruby’s quiet strength, at such a young age, is a heartbreaking call to keep walking forward despite hatred 💫. Love is one of the best things that can happen in a person’s life 💖. A love that is mutual, full of understanding, calm, and satisfying is truly one of the most enriching experiences someone can have 🌟. In true, sincere love, there is exchange, complicity, companionship, and mutual support 🤝.

When we live love, our life becomes fuller, richer, and lighter 🌈. Love can transform life. Many people fear loving, but love doesn’t kill; it gives life, revives, renews our spirits and breath 💫. Life can be tough sometimes, but having someone who loves us and whom we can count on eases that burden so much 💪❤️.

To love is to commit to another 💞. To love, we must want to love, make compromises, and move beyond selfishness, understanding that someone else watches over us with a generous and loving heart 👀💕. Loving is one of life’s greatest lessons, and as the poet said, “we only learn to love by loving” ✨.
