Stoked to present my most recent personal bike build “Junior” a 1973 Harley Shovelhead rebuilt from the ground up, no nut/bolt left unturned. Some details on the bike:

Rebuilt 4-Speed Trans, 1-1/2 BDL 8mm open belt primary with fab kevin motor plate w/ custom mid control set up

Windowed Neck, +2 over 41mm Shaved legs stuffed into 39mm trees, extended chromed panhead risers with stainless tubing, MCM NOS Tracker bars, custom stem bolt/fork caps by @tyler_evolutionmachineco

Sealed Bearing 13 spoke mags donated by the babe from her 03 sporty

SB&F fender struts with ironhead fender welded and metal finished. B&C seat, relocated bottom shock mount on the swingarm and custom made shock hardware. PM brake with custom anchor point 12.5” Progressive 412 shocks (but got 13” Progressive 444 shocks on the way)

Theres absolutely no paint on this bike it’s all powdercoat.

This bike rips and is a blast to ride, so happy to finally be back on my own bike it’s been almost 3 years.

Huge thanks to my girl Jacque for absolutely not believing me when I said “I’m buying this runner and leaving it alone” and her never ending support while i’m chasing my goals, Justin for holding and selling this bike to me, David Rumpling machine shop for helping me with motor machine work/heads, Joel for the top quality powder coating job there’s so much of it, and anyone that I’ve bought or bartered parts with. taken in Ocala, Florida by @cycle_fiend

FB reminded me on this day 8 years ago about these outtakes from my Cycle Source Magazine Feb 2016 feature. I’ve got big plans in store for my shovelhead 🤞🏻#cyclefiendworks by @cycle_fiend

Let me introduce you to ring money. A 1 year project that started with me buying a 98 softail heritage. This project escalated very quickly and came out exactly how I wanted. I couldn’t have done it without some great friends. @8fifty_speed_shop as always. @deathtraps_fl for the motor work and other help. @cycle_fiend for the fab work and all the help finishing it up and answering all my dumb questions. And a huge thanks to @sarahstroff for putting up with my late nights in the garage and complaining.
Frame is a @thegasbox
Paint by @milk_bone
80inch super stock from @sscycle
Mid controls from @deathmetalracingparts @boostedbrad
Many odds and end from @lowbrowcustoms

Happy to collaborate with @8fifty_speed_shop @deathtraps_fl and @milk_bone on this sweet evo chopper for @itsjustbigaaron who has been building this chopper himself. I did some fabrication work and helped Aaron get across the finish line with some wiring, plumbing, brakes and fine tuning to make it road ready. Enjoy your new chopper Aaron!! #choppershit #choppersrule #cyclefiendworks taken in Ocala, Florida by @cycle_fiend

I’ve been collecting some chopper nostalgia for R&D purposes, some might say I’m obsessed but Indian Larry is my true inspiration. Indian Larry was first featured in Iron House Nov 1987, I was born in 11/6/1987, coincidence?! Gonna start off my NYC chopper with a 2 up 30 deg rake Paughco frame just like he would have. #choppersrule #choppershit #cyclefiendworks by @cycle_fiend

Made a custom set of mild steel Goldwing bars per request of @bludshaker I used .250 walled 1” OD tubing for these, needed a 1”’clamping area and turned down the hand control area to 7/8” and was left with plenty of material (.120 thickness) all miter cuts were beveled, tig welded, and metal finished for powder coat. Ryan gave me a idea of what he wanted but since the angles were unknown I made a wooden template out of 1” OD wood stock from Lowes and dialed in my angles and lengths to achieve what Ryan was looking for. #cyclefiendworks taken in Ocala, Florida by @cycle_fiend

Shaven, massaged, windowed and hardtailed softail frame for @goldwrks using @_krispy.co_ hardtail, brake caliper anchor and rear axle. Also made wheel spacers, centered the 19” wheel, anchored brake caliper and mounted the sweet frisco tank. @calebhensley95 did an awesome job installing the ignition housing on the gas tank. Thanks for your patience Ian, can’t wait to see another cool FL chopper on the road! #choppersrule #choppershit #cyclefiendworks taken in Ocala, Florida by @cycle_fiend

@oweeeeeeenie bought me a genny shovel frame to replace the hardtail section that seemed tweaked and questionable. Needless to say the left lower frame rail was bent and hardtail wasn’t even slugged into the original frame, YIKES. I performed a little frame repair and installed this slick @_krispy.co_ hardtail kit, hands down one of the best kits on the market. Thanks for your trust Owen. taken in Ocala, Florida by @cycle_fiend

Finally accomplished what I set out to do. Built & sold my first custom bike build out of my shop, Cycle Fiend Works. CFW Bike # 1 is headed to Japan 🇯🇵 This bike wasn’t cobbled together with clapped out parts, everything was touched by my own hands from metal fab/welding, to rebuilding the motor/trans, and final assembly. This bike uses only quality parts that I trust. Everything was powder coated/cerakoted by my trusted friend @tactical_powdercoating Rest assured that every bike I build, will be built as if it were my own personal bike. Patina is alright but purpose built is better. This is just the beginning with more to follow #cyclefiendworks👊🏻🇺🇸 taken in Ocala, Florida by @cycle_fiend

Remember that Evo motor I took a part in a video a little ways back? Well here’s the finished product. 1985 Harley 80” Evo, .010 over std comp pistons, S&S breather gear, adjustable pushrods, and hydro lifters, Andrews EV27 cam, made my own oil fix kit out of 5/16 brass stock, Dynatek Dyna S igntion, new 32-amp charging system and Mikuni HSR42 carb. @tactical_powdercoating hooked up the illusion cherry red, David Rumpling on truing the flywheels, headwork and boring cylinders. #cyclefiendworks by @cycle_fiend
