Fun fact: Most of us ride with the seat a bit too low. You always want only a slight bend in the knee when your leg is fully extended. 🦵

Slowing down the clip in for ya — we get it it’s intimidating 😝

Let’s break it down!

1. DON’T PANIC - take your time it will go a lot smoother we promise!
2. Our pedals are double sided- the side facing up is for spd clips (tiems or other spin shoes form home usually). The side for our in studio shoe is on the flip side called the delta. The first thing your going to want to do is make sure you’ve got the right side of the pedal. So flip the pedal so you see the more open side of the clip.
3. Glide the front of your foot into the pedal until it catches at the front
4. Once you feel the clip catch bring your weight down until you hear a loud clip
5. Wiggle side to side to make sure your secure
6. Take a deep breath 🧘‍♀️ you just made it through the toughest part of class 🤣

Don’t be afraid to wave us over for some help truly professionals at this point 🤣

How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard 💔

After more than 6 incredible years, we’ve made the extremely difficult decision to close CycleBar Smithfield at the end of this month.

Like many other studios, we’ve been deeply affected by the larger issues within CycleBar corporate and Xponential Fitness. Despite giving it everything we had — emotionally, physically, and financially — continuing is no longer sustainable.

This decision has nothing to do with the people in this room. YOU are what made this place magic. The energy, the sweat, the friendships, the laughs, the hugs — you turned a studio into a family.

Classes will continue through the end of the month, and we’ll be prorating any active memberships. We’ll also be sharing details soon about how we plan to celebrate our final rides together 💪🏼 We fully intend to make these last few weeks our best yet ❤️

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you. For riding with us. For showing up. For building something unforgettable.
