Third place on the rocks please!
Henning Sydow @cyclenning completes the overall/mixed podium in third place as well as riding into second position on the only road ranking.
His secret weapon? Crushed ice!
Not only did he manage to keep his cool during the first days when he struggled with a nervous stomach, but he also somehow won the logistic game to seemingly never run out of crushed ice along the route.
Knowing LA PERIPHERIE's route doesn't exactly send riders into hypermarché-country but rather offers the epicerie style of a shopping experience, we're seriously impressed by those organisational skills.
Maybe that's why he never stopped when we met him along the route for a picture! ;) Always fresh and in a good mood, Henning showed us what ultra cycling is about: First of all, joy and then of course, gaffer tape.

Thank you Henning for keeping us entertained with your good mood, it was a pleasure to follow your ride!
