Our monthly group ride for mental health. Join us monthly on our rides to spread awareness, bring smiles to the faces of children, and to get outside off screens. We are always open to having volunteers help with these rides, as well as taking suggestions of new locations across Washington state.

Canadian Grands. Kids are having a blast, all racing really well. Kyle off the couch racing like he never stopped, and a couple of our Canadian riders showing us what’s it’s all about up here. Team dinner at Wings was a huge hit!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day 2026. We love seeing so many stoked kids (and parents) on bikes. 🥳

At Duthie Hill, we had 76 racers cross the finish line at this year’s Dual Slalom with Bigfoot BMX, up from 64 last year and 38 in 2024!

ATTENTION All Summer Camp Participants! To officially close out our summer programming, this Saturday from 1:30-4pm we will be co-hosting an open house at SeaTac BMX. This is a free event for all our Auburn and Buckley Summer Camp kids. Bring a friend too! We will have plenty of free loaner bikes and helmets. All you need to bring is long pants and long sleeve shirt, and closed toe shoes. We recommend not wearing crocs. Also, we plan to give away a couple race bikes to some lucky participants. August Volunteer of the Month

We’re proud to recognize James Cleveland @jcleveland138 as our August Volunteer of the Month.

James has been one of those volunteers we can consistently count on to show up wherever help is needed. Throughout August, he volunteered at 11 different events and put in 47.5 hours across five different Cycle Therapy programs and activities.

From Summer Ride in Auburn and Summer Camp in Buckley, to the SeaTac Beginner League, the SeaTac School Open House, and spending his own time helping us build bikes, James has been willing to jump in and help wherever we need him. He even signed up for the @seatacbmxofficial Beginner League.

And those 47.5 hours don’t include the time it takes just to get there. James logged another 14 hours and 340 miles traveling to support our programs this month.

What stands out most about James isn’t just the number of hours. It’s his consistency. When there’s work to be done, kids who need help, bikes that need to be built, or an event that needs another set of hands, James continues to show up.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have volunteers like James who believe in what we’re doing and are willing to give so much of their own time to help make it happen.

Congratulations James, and thank you for everything you continue to do for Cycle Therapy and the kids and families we serve.

July Volunteer of the Month: Oliver Waller! @oliwally867

Please join us in celebrating the amazing Oliver Waller, our July Volunteer of the Month!

At just 11 years old, Oliver has already made a huge impact—contributing an incredible 34 volunteer hours across nine sessions this month alone!

From supporting Summer Camp programs in Buckley and Auburn to lending a helping hand at Auburn Rec & Roll, Oliver has shown outstanding consistency, energy, and versatility wherever he’s needed.

His enthusiasm is contagious, and his willingness to jump in and help has truly made a difference for our programs and participants.
