i’m super overwhelmed from last night. God surpassed my expectations in such a powerful way that the whole night felt so surreal. the room was filled with people from so many different backgrounds, cultures, creeds, and walks of life, all experiencing the beauty of the night together. people who may have never crossed paths otherwise, laughing, singing, crying, and dancing together. there were people i’ve known for years and people i had just met that night all coming together for this experience.

i can’t think about it without crying. i’m so, so, so, so grateful to be here and to be doing this with people i love with everything in me.

this show wouldn’t have happened without every single person on my team who worked sooo hard to bring this together. to everyone who came, worked on this project, prayed for me, and prayed with me—thank you so, so much.

this is probably the scariest thing i’ve ever done, but as of now i cant help smiling from ear to ear. this is the proudest ive ever been of myself. this album means SOOO much to me and i’m so grateful to God for creating this with me and giving me the opportunity to share this with the world. this album tells the ongoing story of God’s fingerprint in my life and shows how much of a music lover i am. i do ask when you listen for the first time to please listen to the songs in order to see how the picture is painted. thank you to all these amazing people who helped me with this project. it wouldn’t be anywhere CLOSE to this final product without every single one of them. i pray this album blesses you and gives you a smile, a reason to dance, a shoulder to cry on, an excuse to blast and rock out to, and a reminder of God’s goodness. please enjoy Journey to Eternity🤍 link in bio by @cydbriii

“bye bye!” reached 100K views yesterday, and I couldn’t be more proud of the art my team and I created.

At first, I was TERRIFIED of doing a music video. I’m not the most comfortable being on camera, let alone singing and dancing for the whole internet to see.

However, my mother saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself and lovingly pushed me out of my comfort zone.

The day of the shoot was one of the BEST days of my life. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but I loved every bit of it. Getting to learn the choreography in only three days, shooting over and over again, and spending hours creating this visual was a test of my work ethic, but I enjoyed every moment.

That day only further solidified my joy in getting to work in the music industry and being an independent artist. I would truly do this all over again.

Thank you to every single one of you who has watched this video, to the amazing team who helped create this visual, to the amazing people I have the privilege of calling friends who loved on me and prayed for me during and after this process, and to my mother, who continues to push me to do hard things.

I’m forever grateful to God that I get to do this for a living and help so many people.

all it takes is one person🤍.

one thing that touched me about my show was seeing so many people from different backgrounds and demographics come together and listen to our message.

afterwards, i remember my bass player coming up to me and saying, “we may have saved a life tonight.”

that’s when i realized: it only takes one life. one heart. one soul.

i’m more than grateful for every person who came to my show and has been listening to my songs, but i’d rather have one person be touched and saved than have the whole world know my name and never touch a single heart.

i love each and every one of you who’s been a part of this journey with me, and those who just joined us.

after writing “bye bye!”, i got to see how God turned my pain around for good. i saw how every sleepless night of my mind running on a hamster wheel led to writing a song that helped people feel less alone in their struggles and encouraged them to continue fighting the good fight.

this song also gave me the opportunity to create beautiful memories around it and be reminded of God’s goodness even more.
