SNL 50th ANNIVERSARY DUMP

After a wild week I am finally getting around to sharing some of this past week’s SNL performances with the incomparable @mileycyrus! You are an absolute force of a woman, a beast of a singer and truly a kind hearted person. What a dream to sing with you and @blackfootwhitefoot @theroots @jonathanrado & @pino_palladino_official_
This weekend will stay close to my heart for a very long time!

To the girls @ayannajoni & @samarabrownofficial- I am so lucky that I get to sing with you both!! Ya’ll are so talented and the BLEND honeyyy! Don’t get me started! Thank you @denoshbennett for the call and for trusting us to hold it down!

The last thing I want to say is that I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to have a dream realized. As a long time NY’er and massive fan of the show - performing on SNL has been on the bucket list for a while. Actually, I have had it on my New Year’s Goal list for 8 years running. So for this one- my last slide is little Cydney singing and dancing with her best friend and sister Iris- this one goes out to you kid! You dreamed it and then you did it! How cool is that! taken in SNL studios by @cydneyemcg

What a thrill to sing with @bemidjisymphony conducted by the phenomenally talented Beverly Everette. As if that wasn’t enough I got to sing with @cartwrightmusic! This one will stay close to my heart for a good long while. Getting to sing the music of @tinaturner & @prince was a challenge and a BLAST! Getting to sing them with a full symphony orchestra was a dream come true. I’ll be on cloud 9 from this one or a while…..

Watch my belly grow over 9 months of performances!

I was lucky enough to perform up until 9 days before our sweet Beau Michael arrived- so I literally danced this little man into the world! It felt so special to be able to perform with my son growing in my belly. Getting to share beautiful music and what I love to do the most with him was magic. I can’t wait to show him some of these videos and memories when he gets older.

Thank you to the amazing musicians that I got to play with during this time! Thank you for taking such good care of us!
