Braved the rain for the Midwest Aloha Festival. SOOOO worth it! I added one of the (many) videos I took of these incredible dancers. I even learned the story of the first coconut tree! by @cykauthor

So…I needed to buy a new mouse for my computer. Went to some store that sells them. Was shown a couple different ones.

Me: “These are too big. I need a regular size, like my mouse at home.”

Employee: “They are pretty much all that size.”

*wondering if mouse size has changed drastically since I last got one.*

Me: “You don’t have a smaller size?”

Employee: “Not really.”

And then it hits me.

Me: “Ah, okay, thank you for your time.” I head home. While searching online, reads out loud, “Child-sized…child-sized…where is…?”

Sooooo much fun!! What a great turnout for my The Makers book talk/signing at Boswell Book this past Wednesday!

Thank you to everyone who went, who bought a book, and who told others to check it out. I can’t name everyone but thank you to friends, family, those from H.S., previous coworkers, gamers, kids, and random people who tagged along with others 🤣🤣

Seriously, this was amazing. I had a blast. 🩶💚🩵

Special shoutout to @boswellbookco and Tim (employee) for making this all possible.

See you all next year for my next one!! by @cykauthor

I can’t even frickin’ believe it. My author talk/signing there is this Wednesday, Aug 19, and you’ve already pre-ordered so many I hit #1 in sales. 😮🤯

Now, when you see me, you can say you’re seeing a Boswell Book bestselling author. Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? 😁

You know how when you have that dream where someone fires you as a friend and then you realize you’re supposed to take care of three dogs, but nobody’s giving you any instructions, and then you sit down on your bed and say “this must be a dream because it’s too overwhelming,” but then your mom in the background tells you “this isn’t a dream” but then you wake up and think how happy you are your mom was wrong?

No? Is that just me? 🤣🤣🤣 by @cykauthor
