I could write an essay about what this project means to me and why I've put so much of my heart and soul into it, and maybe some day I will.

But for now I'm just gonna sit with this feeling: I FUCKING DID IT 🥹

It took me almost a decade, but I finally visited all 63 national parks in the U.S. And I got to end it with a really good one 🖤

Do you set rules for yourself when you travel? I do, and if I don't follow them, things go terribly wrong 🫣

These are my top 5 golden road trip rules:

👙 Always bring a swimsuit: You never know when an opportunity to dunk your junk will present itself, and it's important to always be prepared for it.

🏝️ Don't go off-roading alone (aka don't do anything stupid): Every time I break this rule something bad happens.

🍦 Stop for ice cream at least once per day: I usually need a sweet treat around 3 pm, and ice cream is by far the best kind. I also love finding cute small town ice cream parlors.

🏔️ Choose a rock with a view over a restaurant: My favorite thing to do on road trips is packing a picnic lunch and eating it on a rock with a view. Beats sitting in a crowded restaurant every. single. time.

🙅‍♀️ Don't be a dick: This is really just my version of Leave No Trace (and it does not include being nice to random men at gas stations who tell me that my bike is too big for me).

🗣️ It's happening! I'm launching a YouTube channel!

I've been wanting to dip my toes into long-form storytelling for a while now so a few months ago I bought a new camera and started shooting some horizontal footage.

Visiting all 63 national parks is not easy, it takes time and money and a good amount of stubbornness. But it's so so worth it 🏞️🩷

A more cynical answer to the "why" question is that I wanted to make sure I visit these places before it's too late.

🗣️ Here's how I attach a microphone to my motorcycle helmet to be able to record audio while riding.

The DJI Mic 3 is magnetic so I just taped a magnet to the inside of my helmet. This makes the mic easy to attach, flip around, and remove.

Everyone's asking me what's next after finishing the national parks, and this is my current project:

🗽 Visiting all 50 states in the U.S.

Up until a week ago I had never been to New England so I was missing quite a few states. But after this trip, I'm happy to report that I only have one left!

The last one? Iowa 😅 I'll get there eventually, I promise.

👉 I also included New York on this trip even though it's not New England, mostly because I'd never been there on a motorcycle before by @cylinderella

I have so much I want to say about finishing this project but I'm still on the road so that will have to wait.

But in the meantime: a massive shoutout to @lawtigerssandiego @lawtigers for helping me get to 63 🧡

These guys have been supporting my national park quest for a few years now, and I couldn't have done it without them. I also very much appreciate when brands see the value in real riders sharing real experiences from the road 🙏
