Some news ✨☺️! I am the Music Director with Stephen Halsey for our new Stouffville Children’s Choir in the @stainedglasscentrepa ! This is a brand new choir we have started in hopes to share an opportunity for young singers to learn, grow, and have fun making music in a group! We had a great turnout yesterday, and we do still have room for more singers- feel free to reach out if you know any singers who would like to join. ☺️🎤 I am the new Music/ Choir Director for the awesome all womens choir, Voices Alive @voicesalivechoir in Stouffville and Newmarket! I am honoured to be taking on this role Stephen will be helping me with all the business and technical work for Voices Alive- and I will be able to dive into arranging for our new choir & focus on directing and sharing all of my voice and performance experience with these amazing singers! This choir is already big success thanks to the incredible leadership of its founder Mary, and all the singers that have kept Voices Alive singing all around the community, lifting spririts, and donating to wonderful local charities through their concerts. Stephen and I are honoured to share our skills with the Voices Alive Choir, and will do our best to continue all the good Mary has created with Voices alive. We also are accepting new members! Feel free to reach out to join the Voices Alive choir! It’s an exciting musical start to September and our Fall terms! 📸I had an awesome experience doing a photoshoot with Audra Bradbury from @north.of.42 in her home studio! Audra is warm, welcoming, and made me feel very comfortable during our shoot- and let me see each photo and pose as we went along! It was a fun and collaborative experience- and I loved how the photos turned out! Thank you Audra ! See you again! ☺️✨ #musictherapist #sarnia #stouffville #singer musicdirector by @cynfaygm
When a Music Therapist takes the big stage- a lot of thought goes into the song choice, instrument, & arrangement. The week that I spent in L.A. was a very cool experience and I made many friends from the experience. Even met @teamcoco between rehearsals :) It was amazing- and yet- at the same time my family in Sarnia had an unexpected painful loss, and just before I got on the plane back to Canada - I had one more chance on the phone to tell my Lolo how much I loved him. He had passed before I got the chance to physically be with him. But I am grateful for our last phone call & the music I can remember him by❤️ He brought music and singing into my life in such a big way. As a half filipino kid with an amazing singer of a Lolo, of course I grew up with Karaoke 🇵🇭🎤✨ Songs I learned from him- I even get to sing in some Music Therapy sessions now. The piano lessons as a kid- came full fircle to my work now. My ukulele from my cousin @giofrancisco_ brought me my main and favorite instrument to play. And 2006 me who self taught myself to play a pink guitar & write songs- I cant thank enough for the skills I have and use all the time now. Anyways, as we navigate all of these challenges and ups and downs- I cant help but have these moments of gratitude… for the family I have and have found & the hope that faith that I can create some waves of good in every community I happen to be in. Thankful for everyone who has come to support my family at @in__thepocket 🤗! We have so many fun events to offer Sarnia. (Come visit tonight for my sisters event, “Bieberchellaoke”! @lilbieber 🙏🎤✨!) Thankful to be a part of both the Sarnia & Stouffville communities ☺️ Todays a new day ❤️ To try again 👍 To be kind ☀️ To learn 🧠 To grow 🌱 To love 💞 To find something to smile about 🫶 To have faith 🙏✨ Thank you to my friend Tian for the help in acquiring this keyboard- traveling all over L.A. Redondo Beach to have great food adventures, and make fun memories ( I still think about those street tacos hah 🌮)☺️✨☀️🎹 Thank you for this song @kirkfranklin Thank you for the opportunity to sing @starmakersinternational #singer #musictherapist #sarnia #faith #stouffville by @cynfaygm

The lovely Stouffville Group of our @voicesalivechoir had their first recording session of 2026 last Wednesday night, and everyone did a fantastic job sharing the encouraging lyrics and beautiful harmonies to “Look Up” by Joy Oladokun arranged by Abby Zots. I am thankful for the opportunity to lead this choir founded by Mary Bennet, and for every voice we get to meet and sing with each week. ❤️🤗 We have lots more musical memories to make, and this is just the beginning! While I am resting my voice- I am excited to share the result of an awesome experience facilitating a community painting with the @villageofstouffville at a few different events in the beautiful village of Stouffville! Just gave a few prompts: the theme of growth, creativity - and everyone who passed by was invited to make their mark with acrylic paint markers :)! Thank you to the community members who came out to checkout the Ladies Night Event with the @villageofstouffville, the @wsstrawberryfestival, and @soundtree_studio ! Thank you to the @villageofstouffville for giving me an opportunity to create a little pop up art studio on Main Street Stouffville ! 🤗✨🎨 #art #artist #popup #stouffville by @cynfaygm
