It’s that time again..
Our little bus rider. We’re going to have a pizza party this weekend for sure.

May the Lord bless and keep you every day, especially your school days. May you love your teacher, faculty and all the new students around you.

Somehow, I spent so much of my life searching for what had been beside me all along. Looking back, I can see God’s hand in moments I never recognized then.

I don’t go to church often anymore, but seeing more of the world has made me notice God again—in His quiet presence and majesty everywhere made by Him. Now I’m just learning to seek Him again, it’s never been perfect but it’s always been real. taken in Lake Maggiore, Italy by @cynplicityy

Y’know. I used to really hate the word “soon.”

I never embraced the “waiting.”
Those seasonal growing pains everyone endures at some point.

The biggest ones being what seems like the never ending sacrifices.

I found myself asking God so often, when is it my turn?
When will we see the fruits of our labor, the light after countless moments of abuse, negativity or environments that could have destroyed us entirely.

Now, it’s a blur. Not so much a blur where you can’t remember, but where I have found peace in the chaos of my memories.
I’ve woken up in countries, have traveled countlessly for friends, family, work and leisure.

With kids, without kids.
I sit here right now reflecting, I’ve done this, we have done this.
Solely by the grace of God, in all our waiting, in every season.

And I’m embarrassingly saying to Him..
“You were right. Of course you are. You knew all along,” and with my husband’s boundless faith—so did he, reminding me for years.

“Soon.”
It’s a word I see differently now.

💌 At this stage in my life, I’m really going to learn to take the time to say how I feel more. What I’ll pursue. How I’ll pursue it.

Right now though, let it always be a constant reminder.

Never have I ever imagined in my wildest dreams of us traveling the world together.

If you have told me years ago I’d wake up in cities that were picture perfect, taste flavors I’ve never had before and experience adventure/history/culture/language/and an endless amount of laughs—I wouldn’t believe you.

Both from humble beginnings.
I told my husband today— “we used to have room mates.. we used to sleep on the floor (mattress),” and here we are waking up in Germany, Italy, Switzerland on this incredible @tourdeluxrally.

It’s been an incredible journey, and along with my husband, I have so many people to thank for allowing us the freedom to travel. All our littles are happy and enjoying their summer vacation while Daddy and Mami get to experience such a full life together.

The gratitude I feel is immense.
