This fall I had a week with four weddings. All of which I delivered full galleries in a week. (Same situation last year with 5 weddings in 8 days) annnnnd every wedding for the past several years. I don’t say that to brag, but to acknowledge that I have a fail proof system for delivering for my clients Every. Single. Time.

For any of my photographer friends wanting to get away from the computer and get their lives back, I’d love to help! You don’t have to want to deliver in a week, but if your current process is 8-12 weeks PLUS, you might want to consider what I’m offering.

I have now captured this beauty and her sweet parents eight autumns in a row. Last night we walked through the pumpkin patch to find her bedroom pumpkin, discussed her future as a photographer and petted some bumblebees. Need to take a moment to express my appreciation for this incredible partner in crime I have. October has always been my busiest month of the year. But due to the timing of when weddings book (1 year+ in advance) and when I moved to Raleigh, this particular October has been the busiest of my entire 20 year career. 8 weddings in 3 states, none of them in Raleigh.

I have barely seen the inside of our new home or laid eyes on this handsome man of mine but he has been my rock through it all. Picking up every extra task possible to make this season survivable. Groceries, cleaning, cooking, errands, making sure I stay hydrated, ordering a TENS unit when I tweaked my back again. He has thought of everything without being asked. I Feel so loved and supported and know I will make it through these last couple weeks with him in my corner.

Two years ago two of my dearest friends had their wedding wrecked by Helene. As avid backpackers they opted to hike to the top of the mountain near their home and with helicopters circling they said their sweet vows and committed to each other through the storm.
A year later I was already booked for their rescheduled date so we built an arbor at the base of Grandfather and they repeated those sweet vows on the other side of the storm. 🥹

They say calm seas don’t make a good sailor and I’d say a relationship that hasn’t yet weathered a storm doesn’t yet know what it’s capable of. So cheers to early storms and strong relationships. 🥂🌊
