Thank you @lizeidelman, whose episode #233 on @downtobirthshow comes out this Wed. We had a wonderful time with you at your family’s beautiful @adorolei restaurant in downtown Manhattan last night, and extra thanks to the spontaneous friends and fans who popped in to hang with us!

Busy weekend working on our next major project @downtobirthshow. Second meditation/yoga practice in 36 hours, and had a body work session in between. Proudly sharing evidence of self-care as a reminder to myself. 💕 by @cynthiaovergard

Just visited my in-laws, who live atop Stratton Mountain. My mother-in-law used to be a potter, a hobby she began when the family lived in Japan for a couple years in the seventies. She did both stoneware and porcelain, and made her own glazes herself (red being my favorite and apparently the toughest to work with). Some of her most beautiful pieces are on display in her own home, and these are among the hundreds she’s had in storage. We brought home dozens. I can’t believe how beautiful it looks, nor can I figure how how I took this for granted for the last 20 years. I’m grateful and honored to have it around my home.

This is our rescue pup, Baci. And I’m sorry to say, no; the photo wasn’t staged. Wouldn’t she be such a good girl if it had been. #caughtredhanded

Oh what a difference two months makes in the world of #parenting a #rescue pup. It’s too bad she’s not cute anymore. Oh well. Guess we’re stuck with the #mutt. We will just have to manage.
