This past year living in South Korea 🇰🇷 have been a chapter I always knew was temporary in my mind — originally just one year. Because of that, I never fully committed to learning Korean. If I’d known I might stay longer, I would have put more effort into the language. At the same time, I was balancing online university and teaching English, so my focus was already split.

Living abroad is always touch-and-go — you never fully know where life will take you next. Reaching this point has made me reflect more deeply, and I know that wherever I go next, I’ll at least learn the basics. Korea has shown me how much language truly matters.

I’ve genuinely enjoyed this year here — challenges included. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been meaningful, and I’m continuing forward in this chapter with a lot of growth and perspective.

As I spend this time reflecting on the months passed — and thinking about what’s ahead — this feels less like an ending and more like a checkpoint. A moment to pause, look back, and carry everything I’ve learned forward.

I’ve always believed: try everything. Live everywhere. Try every hobby, every place, every version of yourself. How else will you ever know what truly fits — or where you’re meant to go?

This time in Korea has been a precious part of my life — and it’s still unfolding. Thank you. I hope this connection continues beyond any place or chapter.
To everyone who has shared time with me here — thank you for being part of this journey. 🤍
