It was an honor being selected by the crowd for best exhaust at BimmerinvasionLA this year. There were a lot of late nights after work, and tons of hurdles, but so much support from so many people all over the world made it possible to get this car where it’s at. When I start a build I never really have “goals”, per say, I just get some crazy idea and try to do whatever I can to make it happen. This one is coming together nicely 👌

Also @chrome_m3 made one hell of an e92. Two supercharged bmw V8s side by side made one crazy sound.

Among the many colors offered for the BMW E34, Techno Violet Metallic stands out as one of the most distinctive and desirable. With its deep purple metallic finish, the color perfectly captures the bold character of the 1990s while remaining unmistakably BMW.

The rarity of Techno Violet E34s today adds to their appeal among collectors and enthusiasts. Beyond the cars produced for regular customers, a small number of pre-production and special examples were built, including six pre-production sedans used to test the color and the unique M5 Touring show car presented at the 1994 Essen Motor Show.

As part of our effort with @czechmate_e30 on his #s70b56 powered #e34m5 we have developed a set of gasket plates to replace the OEM bonded rubber units. These use readily available and cost effective o-rings for sealing which makes service cost competitive compared to OEM.

Shown on our development #m70 and with a mockup of our carbon composite intake manifolds.

While the OEM gasket plates were designed to seal as well as decouple the intake manifolds for reduced noise, vibration and harshness we feel that for most owners a slight increase in NVH is worth it for improved sealing.

Carbon composite manifolds fit well with the OEM as well for a nice fitment verification.

Last we have the 3D printed mockup of the carbon composite intake manifold injector flange on the new seal plate.

We’re updating @czechmate_e30 #s70b56 powered #e34m5 with a @rondavis_racingproducts high performance radiator along with other cooling system components. But first we have to drain the coolant and remove the old bits.

To start we used our Angry Ass | Fan Clutch and Tensioner Combination Wrench 32/19 along with the Angry Ass | Water Pump Holding Wrench to remove the viscous fan.

We used a small screwdriver to remove the fan shroud rivets as well so the fan and shroud come out together. If you get thirsty the 32/19 combination wrench has a bottle opener . . .

With the fan and shroud out of the way we disconnected the hoses from the radiator.

Next we removed the radiator mounting clamps.

We will be offering a kit that includes all mounting parts needed for installing a new radiator without having to hunt down every part. Be sure to check back!

Before removing the radiator we removed the upper seal.

This #MobMonday we bring you not one but two #e34 's both owned by my Buddy @czechmate_e30 .. The Touring is in the works to receive a fully worked over v12 with a Bunch of @angry_ass_official #carbonfiber parts developed for the v12 .. The 2nd is a #BMW #M5 running the ultra rare S70 .. After some deep cleaning of the wheel wells it’s time for some small but necessary details on the #s70 #e34 #m5 for @czechmate_e30. New fender liners and hardware.

Out with the old inserts.

Time for some cavity protection spray to keep things sealed up.
