Who Cares?Although engendered amid different cultural and musical circumstances, the works Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet and Who Cares? share a fundamental principle: faith in the autonomous power of dance. Balanchine does not explain the music, nor does he tell stories. He reveals the music's inner structure, rhythm and emotional energy through movement alone.
