Don’t burn the day!🐷

Dave Matthews Band at The Gorge for Labor Dave weekend was a staggering success!! A dream trip finally came together for four days of camping in the mountains, amazing music, new (and old) friendships, connections, memories, and more!! I can’t choose the pictures, I can’t choose the videos, but I needed to share something of what was a magical four days in Washington! Frankly, it could not have gone any better!

I don’t know that I have the words to describe how impactful it was. I can’t begin to express how inspired I am after being able to indulge in my favorite music in such a beautiful space! I can say that I will cherish this trip forever! Additionally, I haven’t put the instruments down since I got home, so hope to see you on the road soon😉🤙!!

Go live a little; and pull the trigger on the things that you chase! Life is short but sweet for certain!

I think @d.bolder was trying to tell me to get some rest last night for Father’s Day brunch at @bootleggerslodgewi today 11-2. I didn’t listen. ..

Seriously though, how could a guy sleep after all that energy on stage at the @wausausummershindig so grateful for a wonderful - we’ll talk about that more later.

Long post and last running post:

The highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I’ve experienced all types of ups and downs throughout my running career. I fell in love with the art that is running at a young age, due to being a hyper little guy, but additionally, because I began to find purpose and meaning in what I was doing. Seeing results, pushing myself, breaking down my opponents. These were all the things that I loved, (and do love) about this sport. Initially, I looked at running as an individual sport, but as soon as I got to college I was amazed at how well this team was able to work together in individual events; and push each other to new heights. The friendships, relationships, and memories that I have cultivated I will cherish forever. (Of course the championships too). I cannot thank my family, coaches, teammates, and roommates enough for giving me this. I cannot believe that I am closing this chapter of my life, but I look forward to what lies ahead!
