I came to see the Blue Eye… but I already had my favorite view. 👀

Some trips begin long before you ever get on a plane.

Ours began with applications, payments, reservations, flights, days of waiting, and a visa that seemed like it would never come. We watched our original travel dates pass us by. We had to cancel, rearrange everything, search for new flights and hotels, and somehow make it all work around our jobs. There were moments when we truly thought this trip simply wasn’t going to happen.

And maybe that’s why every place feels a little different now.
After 9 years together, we wanted something as simple as this: a vacation just for the two of us. Not traveling for work. Not for a show. Not because we had somewhere we needed to be. Just traveling because we wanted to — to discover another little corner of the world together.

And we made it. ❤️💛🙏🏾

We made it to Albania. We made it to Ksamil. We made it to this sunset.
And looking at these pictures, I think maybe that’s why we’re smiling the way we are. It’s not just the sea, the view, or this giant hand rising out of the water.

It’s the happiness of finally living something that, for a moment, we thought we might never get to experience.
It was worth the wait.
It was worth rearranging everything.
It was worth making it here. 🇦🇱

And now… the part you didn’t see....

The mistakes, the confusion, doing the same part over and over again, Darien laughing at me every time I messed it up 🤦🏾‍♀️🤣, telling me we had to rehearse it AGAIN, and then… “No, let’s record it one more time!”

At some point I was completely over it, but he was determined to get it right.

So yes… the final reel looked cute and easy, but THIS was the reality behind it.

Vacation, they said… relaxing, they said… meanwhile we’re arguing over choreography and recording the same 20 seconds for the 100th time.

The making of — because the chaos deserves its own reel too 🤗🤣🤣🤣

I did this one because of him. 💛
He told me that @nsync were a big part of his teenage years and even inspired some of his first moments performing in front of a crowd.

As soon as he saw this challenge, he wanted to do it — but with his own twist: mixing the challenge with some of the original *NSYNC moves.

And yes… even on vacation, we somehow end up dancing.
I guess that’s just us — dancing our way through life, one trip, one song and one memory at a time. ✨
