I'll never forget the day God visited. I was in 7th grade; I told my dad that I was quitting basketball. That same night, God said to me that if I didn't use the gift He had given me, it would be a sin (He scared me to hell 😂).

Although my coaching career has ended, my life with basketball has not. God has been working on something special for athletes. This time next year, I plan to have a Christ-centered journal for student-athletes available. God is looking to raise up spirit-filled athletes who love Jesus & sports. @faithful.hoops

I'm grateful for my time at Texas Southern; the bonds I was able to create will last a lifetime. As I look back and trace God’s hand in my life through all my shortcomings, I now understand why he wouldn’t allow me to quit. It wasn't only about me; it was about His creation, whom he loves. 🫶🏾
