So many things I could say but 6 months later I can only think of the team @dinnyvm @sun___san___ @shanagujral @yourboykiran @aran.pg_ blood sweat and tears went into this project all for the love of the game. I genuinely couldn’t find better people to work with. No matter what the weather they’re always the people I want to be around always 🤍 I wanna create with them forever

A few dreams were realised on this project. Obviously working with the Barbican and bringing our crowd into that space in a club context (!!) but in particular having a brown cypher at the end was huge. I’d personally never seen that happen before irl and it was everything I’d hoped for. The clips speak for themselves really n being able to bring that feeling to others is pure magic

Corsica is closing and we're about to give it the worst send off imaginable this Friday 🫡

@baile_ijo are throwing a huge night on Friday 24th Oct with a host of different DJs and 9 other collectives!! We'll be there repping @daytimers_uk 💞

We actually met for the first time IRL at Corsica all the way back in 2021 so this venue holds a super special place in our hearts!!

Daytimers 5th birthday this weekend!!! And we’re celebrating worldwide babyyyyyy 🌏

In honour of this I went back to my first ever stories I posted of early early Daytimers days and they’re so cute 😭 I don’t have loads of bits but there’s my @fabriclondonofficial debut which is still insane that that was one of my first gigs in London lol, being on @reprezentradio of course, but most importantly meeting some of the silliest people I know 💖

Seeing everything grow over the last 5 years has been an absolute joy and I couldn’t be more happy. Love u all by @d.lish_

alterations by @daytimers_uk out now!!!

I just want to talk briefly about my small small part I played in this incredible project - naming the album and where “Alterations” came from.

So we were having a big Daytimers family dinner and no one was really settled on the names we were coming up with so far. We were struggling to find something that wasn’t tied to one language, country, region, religion etc. and wanted to find something that truly connects all of us regardless of where our heritage is from.

And I started thinking about the times I’d felt most connected to my family and heritage. Going out, looking for outfits for weddings or events, and going to the tailor shops to get things altered. And then I clocked were literally “altering” these tunes. So Alterations dawned on me!!! And then @shahmbles said “dubs made to measure” - SOLD

But also, when I had a listen to the whole album this morning, I think I realised the name is also a bit of personal tribute to my Nanima as well. I always remember my mum telling me stories of how she would work all day in the factory and then tailor outfits for people through the night to financially support the family when they first got to London.

So yeah this album means a lot more to me than I think I originally realised myself. And I’m just so so proud of the entire team for pulling off this generational achievement 💛 taken in Young by @d.lish_
