I think this is one of my favorite tattoos I’ve ever made. My client/friend Sarah’s dad and uncle were decorated martial artists in Iran, and this piece was recreated from a photo (second slide) of a sparring match between them. I had fun making it and learning about her family’s history. Best of all? Baba approved, she sent me a selfie of him proudly pointing to her tattoo with a smile and a thumbs up later that night! Two siblings, one unforgettable adventure!

Sage and Leander completed the Junior Open Water students with instructor Dani here in Roatan, and discovered the underwater world together for the very first time.

During the course they are learning essential diving skills such as compass navigation, buoyancy control, mask clearing, and even removing and putting their mask back on underwater.
Pretty incredible, right?

Scuba diving is one of those experiences that stays with you for life, and the best part is that you can start as young as 10 years old.
From the first breath underwater to the excitement of spotting marine life, learning to dive at a young age builds confidence, curiosity, and a deep connection with the ocean.

Watching young divers explore the reef for the first time is always something special. And doing it with your sibling by your side makes the adventure even better.

Congratulations Sage and Leander and welcome to the underwater world. 🐠

Today we celebrate Jannik, who came all the way from Zurich with a dream he’d been carrying for almost 15 years: becoming a Divemaster.

His own words say it best:

“I’ve been planning to do my Divemaster for almost 15 years now, always on the lookout for a great location to do it. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of Roatan as a location and Roatan Divers as a program. I looked for beautiful reefs, good vibes, proper teaching and a sense of community and found all of it in one place. Thanks to all of you for making the last 2 months so special.”

A PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor is an instructor certified to teach divers how to safely and responsibly dive to deeper depths, up to 40 meters (130 feet). They must be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) or higher and have specific experience and training in deep diving.

🔹Requirements:
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) or higher:
You need to be a certified PADI Instructor to teach any specialty course.

🔹Specialty Instructor Training:
You must complete a Specialty Instructor Training course with a PADI Course Director, or provide proof of experience and apply directly to PADI.

🔹Why do your training with a Course Director?
Completing PADI Specialty Instructor training with a Course Director offers several advantages, including personalized guidance from experienced instructors, reduced dive experience requirements and he will also provide valuable teaching tips and practice, enhancing your confidence and knowledge.
