Winter quarter show was as ethereal as it gets!!
I’ll try not to get too sappy but DDC has been such an incredible place and is full of such amazing people. Im so honored to get to dance with them, to get to laugh with them, and to get to call them my friends.

This is Lisa Pringle. Remember that name, because when she’s a famous artist, you can say you knew her when. She’s my twin flame, my soul mate, my other half, my confidant, my best friend. We’ve known each other for nearly 10 years now, which is kinda crazy. Lisa knows everything there is to know about me; I’d even argue that she knows more about me than I do. Last week, Lisa and I saw each other in person for the first in 5 years. And I can honestly say it was the best time of my entire life, bar nothing. A lot has happened in the last 10 years: a lot of things, big and small, have changed, both for better and for worse. But Lisa and I still fit together, have still managed to stay best friends despite the distance, time, and changes. She and I are timeless—the love I have for her knows no bounds. Lisa, my Swiss 🧀, I love you more than I could ever put into words, but know that I try anyway. Let’s do this again soon. Here’s to many more 8 hour FaceTime calls; to many more writing sessions in my bedroom; to many more inside jokes and mirroring of one another’s behaviors; to many more years of being each other’s other halves. Uber late February dump but that’s ok lol

2022 was, like, so strange lol
1. January- I had the plague-19 and had to stay home from a trip with my small group, but decided to follow along online.
2. February- I’m not sure where this picture came from, but it was taken a week before I turned 19 and I was probably coming back from a dance rehearsal lol.
3. March- I did the Big Chop™️ and it was one of the best decisions of my life lol
4. April- it was a weirdly warm day so I decided to soak up as much vitamin D as possible, along with every other underclassman at DePaul.
5. May- I sent this heart to my friend Annette as some encouragement after a rough day at her job
6. June- I went to the children’s museum and slayed the day on the carousel
7. July- my debut in the baywatch swimsuit. *chef’s kiss*
8. August- I drove to Chicago by myself to check out an apartment and then drove back, only to find out the next day that I did not get offered the apartment lol.
9. September- I started my sophomore year of college in my new place. I love this place. So much.
10. October- KP and I go to see Wicked and had a blast. I loved getting to hang out with her.
Since I recently posted November and December dumps, they won’t be on this post.

I am so grateful to my family and friends for helping me through this very difficult year. I am so grateful for each and every one of you. You make my life better than I could ever put into words and yet I try with every word I write. My parents, my sisters, the Post Grad small group 🫰, friends old and new, from Indiana, Georgia, and Chicago, and most importantly, my God above- thank you for everything. Your love has made this year worth living.

Here’s to 2023- May we do the work that must be done and seek out better days ahead. Happy new year, friends.
