I am more than delighted to be performing as part of the Fundraiser for the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt! The painful period the quilt represents was such a pivotal moment that we covered in the Queer History of Dance, and it's important that we celebrate and honour it's memory.

Our 5th Birthday Party will be dedicated to the memory of our much-loved GCF regular, Lewis Black, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Anyone who knew Lewis from GCF will know exactly where you would usually find him — on the dancefloor, with a smile on his face.

Lewis was one of those familiar faces that became part of the night. He supported GCF, loved the music, loved a dance and brought a brilliant energy with him every time he came along.

So when it came to planning our 5th birthday, it felt right to make Lewis part of it.

At the request of Lewis’s family, £5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Turning Point Scotland, where Lewis worked and where he had found something he was genuinely passionate about. Get your tickets now while they are still available! by @d.ross113

We are just back from our fourth outing at our favourite festival, @weoutherefest from @gilespeterson.

Sebastian wrote a review of the first in 2019 and we've been regulars ever since, including having the honour to perform in 2024.

It's always an exceptional weekend, hearing plenty of our favourites on the best stages and systems around - @mrs_cruff Scruff, @colleencosmomurphy @bill_brewster @fourtetkieran and @rubysound to name a few.

It's also where we've often discovered some new favs, with this year being no exception - big shout out in particular to @toribious_monk who played our favourite set we've heard in years, filled with amazing grooves, bangers and masterful EQ work. Pete BBE, @powder @musclecars.nyc and @djspinna were also some futures gems we loved.

We return back to Glasgow feeling inspired for our upcoming set at Good Clean Fun on 3rd October 2026. Like We Out Here, the musical ethos will be anything to make you dance, feel joy and love those around you 💛 get your tickets now x

Music that explores all corners of dance music along some GCF favourites from our parties over the years.

Meditation Hour between 5pm - 6pm 🥰 guided by At Ease meditation with @ggaryl_ We recommend getting down early for this as it’s a great way to loosen up your body, quieten the mind and relax into the party.

Food from Black Pine bagels, Wheatberry pastries and as well as other snacks and a variety of exclusive mixed bespoke drinks created especially for the night. Tea, coffee, Luscombe ginger beer, You & I kombucha, Club Mate and Coke etc. also available.

The usual relaxed decor and chill out spots to eat, chat and rest your legs!
Our 5th birthday is dedicated to regular Lewis Black who sadly lost his life earlier this year, proceeds from every ticket sold are going to @turningpointscotland at the request of Lewis’s family

♡♡♡ HOT MESS IS FOR LOVERS ♡♡♡

This Valentine's Day, I am more than delighted to be joining the amazing Hot Mess at Poetry Club. Colin and Simon were our first ever guests on the Queer History of Dance Music Subcity show back in 2018, and the party was a huge part of my introduction to Glasgow's queer party scene. Buzzing to be joining Colin on the decks for a super romantic boogie.

Our first party of 2026 is at the end of the month on Saturday 28th February at @garnethillmcc ❤️ This month’s headliner is Good Clean Fun resident and ever-present dancer Duncan McBride (@d.ross113) with their unique blend of percussive, jazz-infused and acidic dancefloor gems with warmth and soul. They are supported by Gary Lawson (@ggaryl_) this time round. Two amazing DJs who know our GCF crowd well ❤️Our Meditation Hour will be Taiji Quigong session by Susanne Lin Jensen. As always, we highly recommend getting down early for this as it's an excellent way to ease yourself into the party. Our first hour will be @electronic_experimentations curated by @sssophaki ❤️

Bagels from @blackpinecoffee (£7) and pastries from @wheatberrybakery (£4.50) and as well as other snacks and a wide variety of drinks (inc. bespoke mixed drinks by our bartender - mango spice, club mate spritz, miracle worker, ginger beer, kombucha, tea and coffee, cloudy lemonade) available.

There are lots of chill out spots to rest the dancing legs and have a chat with friends. Ambient floor lamps and candles for a house party feel 🧡

🎉❤️ 2026 Spring Dates announcement! ❤️🎉

We're back with a string of monthly club nights throughout the first half of 2026. We return to @garnethillmcc - where it all began 4 years ago, a beautifully intimate space with a rich history of recovery community in Glasgow. We are also back at @namakmandi.gla after our debut there in December - we loved the space and felt at home.
