The way I edit large batches;
1. I edit a few of the photos from the shoot separate from eachother.
2. I take the parts I like most about each edit, and combine these.
3. I tweak the edit that comes out of combining multiple edits until it all works together.
4. I check on 3 different screen types if it looks nice, thus making sure the photos won't just look good on on screen, but on nearly every screen! (What might look great on your PC, might suck on the screen the client uses, covering multiple screen types minimises the chance of the edit looking weird on other screen types that you personally don't commonly use)
5. I copy this 'preset' edit and post it on every photo from the shoot at that location (different locations may require different editing, thus why!)
6. I tweak and adjust every photo until they look nice and complete!
7. Just to make sure, I check if every photo has a very similar exposure and white balance, so that everything looks nice and cohesive!
8. I check every photo one last time to see if I havent missed anything, this is mostly removing stuff like license plates or unwanted distractions!
9. If all is to standard, export in your preferred way!
10. Send the finished work to the client! (And maybe make a carousel and post them online with the owner as a collaborator!)
