allison my love, diving in deep with you is the only way to go; and there’s nothing more that i love than finding new bodies of water to swim in with you (while you flip, duh). i cannot imagine my life without you to beat dead horses with (god, bodies, mothers, what have you)and that’s just the honest truth.

happy birthday @livyj_ ✨🤍🍿💗🍦🎂🌙

having you in my life and getting to celebrate you for 10 (!!!) years now is so meaningful and humbling. seeing just how many people you have in your life that love you and look to you as an integral part of their lives makes me so proud to be your bestie.

it’s really insane looking back at the last five years, going from rotting in flatbush with angelicas after trying to run in prospect park, to having jobs in a 30 year old kinda way and being sooo serious about da cinema. seeing the life you’re building in jc makes my heart so happy and getting to experience some of it with you as a guest appearance is all the better. while i think part of me will always feel like we’re still in flatbush in some way — making the trek between brooklyn/jc is nothing when it means sitting on a couch and beating the same dead horse.

to more google calendar holds that day “Liv!” and wheelchair accessible movie seats, i love you the most and i hope you have the best birthday 🤍 taken in Birthday Zone by @d.vuh

it is the most important day for erica lovers!!! 🖤🎂

talking to you everyday and seeing you every week makes me the absolute happiest. the fact that its been 10(!?!) years of having you in my life in such a way is so meaningful.

experiencing huge life events with you — you becoming a home owner (!!!), getting engaged (so insane to say that most of these photos are from celebrating your engagement (!!!)); makes me feel so lucky to be present for.

forming traditions, inside jokes, and the little things in between feels so sacred and i cannot imagine what my life looks like without you in it. what is life if not for crossing things off yelp lists, checking the weather for rain during ren faire season, looking out for gifts when out of town for each other, begrudgingly watching survivor (need to wrap it up after 50), and breaking off after group hangs or parties to debrief the goings on???

going from sitting on the couch together during college with bottles of wine unaware of all the beautiful things to come just goes to show that enough time (and being generally more normal about not downing 1.5Ls) is such a special journey to be part of together.

Every year I spend in your life gets more and more rewarding. Your empathy for others knows no bounds and watching you show up for those in your life just makes me want to do the same. It fills my heart with so much joy knowing I have someone with such kindness in my life. Watching you continue to be the best version yourself day over day, year over year makes being your bestie such an honor.

To taking a trip to another fuck ass state, lamenting over how the nitehawk burger sucks now, knowing that anything that’s tmi is deeply relatable, committing to the bit too hard, thinking the last movie we’ve seen is either the best or worst cinematic experience imaginable, and watching elvis again in the future (this a very public forum to broach the matter of rewatching it but I stand by the sentiment)

every year it’s “wow I’m so impressed by you and you are so beautiful and smart and cool and I’m so happy to be your friend” and it’s sooo true but this year it’s even moreso!!!!

thank you letting me steal your nail color ideas and always being down to split wings. until it’s warm enough to see ya on the park bench in front of the docked boat in brooklyn bridge park, we’ll just have to keep digging deep on wednesdays, play wingspan at 3pm to be in bed by 7pm on saturdays, and being two dumb bitches that are still going on tour. i love you so much 🖤🕸️🍷🐈‍⬛🦇❤️ taken in Scorpio Vibez by @d.vuh
