I am beyond happy with the cast iron casserole pan sent to me by KUHA @cookwithkuha.

I have quite a few pieces of cast iron cookware but not a covered casserole like this one. It is the perfect size for a family size casserole.

We have a small outdoor smoker and this pan is perfect for Smoked Mac & Cheese. What delights me even more is that the lid can be used as a small griddle for grilled cheese or pancakes. It fits the double burner on my induction cooktop perfectly.

@viktoriabellcandles sent me this lovely, luxury candle. The scent is a luscious English Pear & Freesia that is absolutely perfect while having a long, relaxing bath.

Viktoria Bell does not skimp on the fragrance. This elegant scent perfumes my bathroom whether it is lit or not. A double wick assures I get an even burn to the end.

My poor tomato plants have taken a beating this season. Again. Storms, high winds, prolonged periods of rain have caused the foliage to suffer and the tomatoes to crack with the rapid overwatering. Still there are a few bright spots, some large lovelies and more blossoms.

There are also some happily dark spots. This is my Black Beauty Tomato and I have never grown one blacker than this one. It's cracked so I will have to keep an eye on it and pick it and the others early. by @d3christie

And just like that... I had a babbling brook in my yard. More like a roaring brook. After hours of heavy rain, like magic... it appeared.

Tomato plants gone wild.

I started pepper plants in an indoor grow light planter 3 weeks ago. Peppers are slower than a tired sloth. Wouldn't sprout, wouldn't put out true leaves, slow to grow and will be slow to grow peppers. I know from experience. I should have remembered to start them in February. Sigh.

The heirloom tomatoes though? Champs. Planted them two weeks ago. They are raging out of the planter, falling over. I have moved the overhead light everyday and by the next day, the plants have reached the lights again.

In this area, there is an old axiom: don't plant tomatoes outdoors until Derby Day. These tomato ladies are not going to wait. I have to get them out of there so the pepper plants can get adequate light. by @d3christie

AI scares me more everyday. Except when it can do things like this. I love so many artists and their works. I can look at them for hours. One favorite is Gustav Klimt.

I asked an AI program to create an image of me in a Klimt painting. AI produced this. The background closely resembles that in his most famous painting "Woman in Gold".

It's amazing... but still a little scary? by @d3christie

What a difference a few weeks makes. From a mass of snow laden trees that looks like lace to this. What a pity cherry blossoms don't last longer.

EDIT: Well me and my big mouth. Not 24 hours later and it's SNOWING on my cherry tree. by @d3christie

I had a very wonderful Valentine's dinner at Gordon Ramsay's. For the first time ever, I had Japanese A5 Wagyu steak. The first time and likely the only time, considering the price but damn, it's unbelievable!

How can beef have a delicate but delicious taste? But, it does, in spades. And the tenderness is miraculous. You could quite literally cut it with your fork. There was a lovely beef tallow sauce in the assorted accents that I loved as well.

New bucket list item for me: Savor a Japanese wagyu ribeye at @gordonramsaysteakcsi. Wonderful server, Satari.
