Oh, 1808... where do I even begin?

You were my first apartment, & truly the perfect one at that. You became home after I left home, & I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start this chapter of my life.

Five years brought countless memories: walks to Holiday Club, Wrigley, & the lakefront trail; last minute dinner plan runs to the convenience store downstairs; & more trips to and from my car than I could ever count. There were sleepovers with Maddie, my parents, my sister, & numerous friends. So much laughter, so much love, & so much life lived within these walls.

I’ll compare every apartment to you. Some may be bigger, newer, or better in one way or another, but they’ll never be you.

Thank you, 1808, for being my first home and for holding some of the best years of my life ❤️🏙️🔑
