My new song “Only 22” is out now‼️

I see this as my most honest song I’ve written so far, because I’m singing about my big dreams for the future, but also being happy for where I’m at right now.

Thank you so much to Joshua Tarver @jt_icy17 for KILLING IT on the saxophone 🎷 I also recorded live bass and guitar for the beat too. This song has been one of the most fun musical projects I’ve ever worked on 🙏 Thank you all for the support so far!

I’m very excited to finally announce my Senior Recital concert!! I have been working on it for the whole year and I can’t wait to share this performance with you all. It will feature all original music with backing instrumentation from @craterhaterz

The concert will be on June 1st 5:00PM, in the Santa Clara University Music and Dance Facility. I hope to see many friends there to celebrate the end of a journey together‼️🦅

My debut album Taking Flight is out now!

I made all of the beats, self-produced, recorded, mixed and mastered everything in my own room.

🥚🍵✈️📖👾🚀🛰️🦅

While this is not a full concept album, I wanted to use imagery of a hawk being born, coming out of it’s shell, then learning how to fly, and eventually taking flight and finding it’s own way in life. In a way, this reflects my process of actually making this album, where each track was a learning experience in how to write, compose, produce, perform, record, mix, and master.

The outro track Taking Flight is my first song with an actual story that is true to myself. I will be pushing myself to write more songs that stay true to my life in the future (not only cap rap anymore lol), and to continue upping my production skills with each release. Debut album is out of the way and now I’m so inspired to work on the 2nd one‼️

Huge thanks to @itskil abstractgenesis @mj_salanga for their features, as well as @farmernickmusic @saundersaladbar for their backup vocals on View from the Atmosphere.
I mixed and mastered all but 2 of the final tracks, so thank you to @okayhason for mastering Uncle Iroh and @mad_speed_bbx for mastering The Chronicles Beatbox Version.
Thank you to Santiago Diaz for making the art for this album (wish I had his Instagram to tag him, he managed to turn my awful drawing on slide 4 into the beautiful artwork on the cover) as well as @yogisnanda for the Taking Flight and D-Hawk logos and @art_by_alo for the character of me on a rocket ship.
Thanks to all my friends who listened to these songs before they dropped and gave me feedback on what they liked and how to improve them.
