D-Flow Orosi “aka the 210” The bait that started it all. Spelled Orosi but pronounced “Oroshi”, you would be hard-pressed to find another swimbait that has been refined to the extent that the Orosi has. The name “Orosi” comes from the Korean word “오롯이” meaning “with everything I have” It represents everything that has been poured and sacrificed into this bait The Orosi went through 7 years of strenuous development and HUNDREDS of handmade wooden prototypes Due to burnout and fatigue, the Orosi and the D-Flow project itself were hanging by a thread early last year. After one final attempt before calling it quits, the exact action that had been envisioned all along was finally realized The Orosi was created with one clear goal: a glide bait that could be worked precisely, stay balanced, and be fished fearlessly around cover. The Orosi 210 is tuned to slight positive buoyancy (it floats) to allow for greater customization. As the bait is fished and naturally breaks in, it will gradually lose some buoyancy and stabilize. This process is fully accounted for in the design and is expected over the lifetime of the bait. Throughout its 7-year development, the Orosi’s weighting system was meticulously refined. The precise placement of premium high-density tungsten enhances responsiveness while maintaining exceptional stability, allowing the bait to respond instantly while remaining controlled and predictable. For weighting, it is recommended to begin by adding weight in front of the front hook. Because the Orosi has roughly 2–3 grams of positive buoyancy, starting with approximately 2 grams of additional weight is ideal. Zappu board weightsand lead wire both work extremely well. Weighting Tips: → Adding weight to the front joint helps the bait sink deeper and track lower → Adding weight to the rear joint raises the head and changes the bait’s posture Dual Line Ties The Orosi features two line ties... Top line eye → Produces a wider, more stable glide Bottom line eye → Creates a more erratic "hunting" action like a balsa crankbait. The C130ST aka “The Ghost Diction” 👻 While D-Flow was founded on handcrafted wooden baits, the Ghost Diction represents the first transition from wood into ABS. What began as an oversized jointed wood crankbait has evolved into one of the more versatile baits you will see. Featuring dual line ties and an interchangeable lip system, the Ghost Diction allows a single bait to be fished in five different modes. From deadwalking, to walking like a spook, to being a wakebait, and even a crankdown that goes down to 6ft, the Ghost Diction provides multiple weapons in one. Top Line Tie: Runs shallower Tighter and quieter action More subtle and finesse Bait can walk like a spook Bottom Line Tie: • Keeps bait down • Wider and louder action • Overall more aggressive action • Produces More body roll and flash With the lip out • Can walk on the surface when twitched/ deadwalked • When slowly retrieved, produces a very subtle wake/swim with a slight knocking sound Shallow Lip • Dives to 3ft with bottom line tie Deep Lip • Dives up to 6ft with bottom line tie The Ghost Diction comes equipped with a feather at the top joint of the tail, adding subtle secondary action The feather can be replaced with a blade to increase flash, vibration, and overall drawing to match conditions. A sneaky tip for stained water is running a chatterbait blade. This configuration is deadly in stained and muddy water! 👀 Although appearances can be deceiving, this bait can be used in a wide variety of ways and is arguably the most fun bait to fish in the D-Flow lineup. D-Gill 150 “aka the 150” Simply put, the D-Gill, or the “150” as some call it, can be looked at as the smaller, more user-friendly version of the Orosi 210. Although they share a similar DNA, the 150 has it's own personality. Just like the 210, the 150 went through an insane number of prototypes before finally getting dialed in. This bait is very meaningful to the owner and to the brand itself. Just like the Orosi, the D-Gill was incredibly hard and grueling to develop, so much so that the project was on the verge of being abandoned. Right at that time, tragedy struck, and the owner’s mother suddenly passed away. Rather than walking away, he found the strength to give it one final attempt. Almost like a miracle, all of the issues that once seemed impossible to resolve were fixed with ease. After everything the project had gone through, seeing the D-Gill finally come together like this felt like a gift from above. This new and improved version of the D-Gill comes with reinforced side fins for added durability. In addition, the hardware and joint system have also been upgraded to withstand even greater abuse Just like the Orosi, the D-Gill is tuned to a slightly positive buoyancy. As recommended by the D-Gill master himself @angler_lilla, he suggests running 1–1.5 grams of weight primarily around the center of the bait. → Adding weight toward the front helps the bait sink deeper and track lower → Adding weight toward the rear raises the head and changes the bait’s posture While the bait can be fished at a wide range of speeds, the D-Gill was originally intended to be fished slower, where it remains extremely smooth and controlled. However, due to its precise internal weighting, the D-Gill can also be worked at faster speeds. Just like the Orosi, the D-Gill also has dual line ties Top Line Tie: → Produces a wider, more stable glide (great for triggering reaction bites) Bottom Line Tie: → Keeps the bait down and creates a tighter glide, ideal for fishing around cover or keeping the bait in the strike zone longer Each D-Gill is built one at a time with an immense amount of pride.
