Dear Dad,

I love you and thank you. I’ve been honored and blessed to call you my dad. You provided me 37 years of amazing fatherhood. Although you left us too soon, you left a major impact on so many lives and will always be remembered. We knew someday god would call you home, and it’s destroying me typing this to share with the people that loved you.

You taught me everything. Sis and I were so damn lucky! Not a day went by that you wouldn’t check on us. Always in our corner from day 1 to the final chapter. Showered us with love. Always would leave me with a hug and kiss. You encouraged me to be unique and chase my dreams. We shared our love for sports together, especially baseball! You were a true GIANT! You always believed in me and pushed me in a gentle way. I could always count on you for anything in life. You were my best friend, ,coach, teammate, and dad.

Thank you for being an amazing husband to my mom. You showed the world what marriage is all about. Best friends and true partners. A beautiful couple that created a big beautiful family. You taught me by example how a husband should treat his wife. You and mom traveled the world, created memories, and provided the best life for my sister and I. Always calm, patient, loving, and respectful. The man of the house.

Exactly 15 years ago you became “Toots”. The most loving and proud grandfather. You absolutely adored your 7 (soon to be 8) grandchildren. A very special and individual bond with each kid. When I became a father 11 years ago, you were so proud that the last name Vance would carry on. Braxton and Beckett were so lucky to have you as a grandfather. It’s destroying me that they won’t have you here with them, but your BBoys were able to create memories and love with you that will last their lifetime. We will wear our last name Vance with pride forever.

You’re now in the gates of heaven, pain and sickness free. Protect us. Toots, you’ve been the backbone of this family and always will be. I promise to make you proud and to take care of everyone forever. Keep your left arm warm up in Heaven pops, I can’t wait to play catch with you again someday! I love you dad.

I’m extremely excited to share that I have been selected from Insurance Business America @businsmagazine as a Rising Star for 2024! I’m honored to be recognized as an insurance professional under 40 who is making headway in the industry. My transition from the company side to retail broker recently hit the 5 year mark... Receiving this award validates that I made the right decision. It has been a fun journey so far and I’m extremely motivated for what’s ahead.

Special THANK YOU to my clients that trust me to handle their insurance portfolios! The opportunity provided to me isn’t ever taken for granted. Thank you to everyone at Newfront, especially to my service teams for taking care of my clients daily in a timely and conscious manner. Thank you to my carrier trading partners that UW risk to provide competitive options for my clients. The business partnerships and relationships we have developed are truly valued.
