You deserve to still be here my sister. I see so much of myself in you. Too many times I’ve been in your shoes. I was one of the more fortunate ones to walk away with my life, but deep down I know this could have been me and one day could still very well be. To my community seeking help, your are not alone. You are not disposable. You matter. Your feeling matter. Your life matters. We shouldn’t been intimidated or afraid to live in our truth and receive the help we’ve been long overdue for. I am genuinely proud of SZA for using her platform to share her journey and for seeking an evaluation for autism. Conversations like these help challenge misinformation, reduce stigma, and encourage people to view autism through a more informed and compassionate lens. With that being said,and I hate that I even have to say this, please stop messaging me asking me to help you self-diagnose.
I am an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), not a psychologist, psychiatrist, or diagnosing clinician. I am not qualified to tell you whether you are autistic or whether your experiences are related to autism. The only responsible and ethical answer I can give is, if you have questions about yourself or believe you may be autistic, the next step is to seek a formal evaluation from a qualified professional.
I can absolutely share educational information about autism, ABA, neurodiversity, and advocacy. I can point you toward appropriate resources and explain concepts within my scope of practice. What I cannot do is confirm or deny whether someone is autistic based on messages, videos, or a list of traits.
Also, because I’ve received several questions about this: while I’m incredibly passionate about autism, ABA, and AuDHD advocacy, I’m not at a place personally where I feel comfortable discussing experiences or releasing a series about that part of my life/career(ummm HIPPA duhh).
I’m usually a very open book, but everyone has chapters they’re not ready to share. Please respect that this is one of mine.

Thank you for understanding (but kinda don’t care if you do or don’t). If you’re questioning whether an evaluation is right for you, I truly encourage you to speak with a qualified clinician who can provide the guidance you deserve.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY it’s been such a full weekend with our recent nuptials, not missing a beat at work, & then creating memories for our family. I couldn’t let the day go by would letting my HUSBAND 🥰😍🫠🤭 know how greatly he is loved, admired, respected in our hearts. Thank you for all you do for us. The little girl in Me feels so fufilled and healed watching you with Jakhi. I feel the light in her eyes inside every time she looks at you. So you most definitely “won” Father’s Day and so did we. We love you Kwanzaa Carver by @d_jaedontplay
