We are fourteen days away from Sonshine: Books, Backpacks & Beyond.

Thanks to generous support, we have books covered for the children attending. However, we are still in need of backpacks and school supplies — the two things this event cannot happen without.

This is a free event for Chicago families, created in honor of my son, Jassiah. This is not a large organization; it is me, doing everything possible to ensure children walk into school on day one feeling ready.
