Kids are just so perfect, pure, and innocent. ❤️
There are so many things in life I know I haven’t always been the best at, things I’ve made mistakes in and things I know I can continue to improve on. But one thing no one could ever convince me at, is being a bad father.
My two precious daughters are my greatest motivation. They give me a reason to keep growing, keep pushing, and keep becoming a better version of myself. I would do whatever it takes to give them the love, support, and life they deserve and I’ve always wanted, because love is free. I may not be perfect, but for them, I’ll always strive to be the best version of myself. 🏳️‍🌈❤️ HAPPY NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY! ❤️🏳️‍🌈

Since I was 5 years old, I knew something about me was different. I spent years wrestling with that part of myself and experiences from my childhood, trying to understand who I was. It took me until 30 to fully embrace the person I’ve always been.

Growing up in a Christian household, I struggled with the fear that there might not be a place in Heaven for people like me. Imagine carrying that weight while simply trying to understand yourself. Being gay isn’t a choice, and neither is the journey toward self acceptance.

I’ve lost incredible friends and family along the way, but I’ve also gained genuine love, new friendships, and people I can proudly call family. ❤️

The beautiful thing is, I’m still ME. I have the same morals, values, and standards. I still pray to the Most High, pray with my kiddos, and jam to the same old songs (with some new ones, too 😂💃🏻). My sexuality hasn’t changed my heart, my faith, or my character. I’m simply learning to live unapologetically as myself.

Love is love, and LOVE will always win. ❤️

To my younger self: I’m sorry I wasn’t there to tell you what you needed to hear. You are loved, appreciated, brave, worthy, and stronger than you know. You never have to change who you are to deserve love or apologize for being the person God created you to be. Keep believing, keep praying, and keep being YOU. ❤️🙏🏽

To my LGBTQ+ family: 🌈 Keep showing up, loving, and living authentically. We deserve to be seen, heard, accepted, and loved without having to explain ourselves.

Let’s keep having the uncomfortable conversations until acceptance becomes comfortable for everyone. Because, respectfully, WE AIN’T GOING NOWHERE! 😂🏳️‍🌈❤️

To anyone still finding the courage to embrace themselves: take your time. Your journey is YOURS. You are worthy of love, exactly as you are.
