Today is the 29yr anniversary of my mom’s passing. That feels unreal tbh. It’s not that it feels like it happened yesterday… but I can’t believe I’ve gone 30yrs wondering what if she never got sick. Life is strange as fuck and I’m realizing every day how much her death has shaped me. When I love, I love very hard and insist on maintaining connections. I feel very deeply (good and bad), I fear the things i love being taken away and I struggle to plan for the future bc I never know what may happen. I can also clearly see what is important and what matters. I can talk through tough situations and lend support to others who are struggling. Love hard, live passionately and never settle for anything you don’t believe in. That’s what I’ve learned. Love you mom. by @daaaaaaaan
