Daalee is back with it's listening session, and this time, we're listening outisde!

In collaboration with @freedom_of_assembly_sound soundsystem and our incredible host @sammyhawker , we're so excited to listen to the selections of curator Trae Bashford (@traebashford) This is not one to miss!

Saturday afternoon on 9 May, join us at 11 Earle Street on the gorgeous expanse of Magpie Hill in Lyneham and hear the records Trae has curated for us. The afternoon will involve a stereo system set up in the grass, with picnic blankets and rugs galore, to sit, listen, and enjoy 2 records from start to finish by Trae.

We'll engage a simple practise of listening together, and paying attention to incredible music in the company of friends. Feel free to bring more rugs, blankets, and your own food and drink.

About Trae: A proud blakfulla from the lands of the Yuin and Kamilaroi people that grew up on Ngunnawal land here in Canberra. A classic music digging nerd that has a love for the act of curiosity within what music has to offer. Trae is a DJ and co-owner of a collective that runs parties called Groove Gratitude and Gouda (GGG). He has had the pleasure of both getting the opportunity to express his own personal taste as a DJ to giving the same opportunity to others through the events he is a part of running.

Spaces are limited, so rsvp to save your spot via the link in bio 🔗

This event takes place on the lands of the Ngunnawal people, sovereignty was never ceded.
