Experiencing a crazy full-circle moment right now. Woke up today and found out that @iamcardib ‘s ‘Am I the Drama?’ won Hip Hop Album of the year @ the @amas
•
- back story for those interested -
October 2020 @tm88 posted an e-mail on Twitter for the community to flood him with fresh ideas. I didn’t have nothing to lose, so I sent him hella ideas and loops.
•
A couple days later he went live and played some new collaborations including the ‘Salute’ beat he did together with @senseikuppe .
•
4 whole years passed where this beat remained unused, until Cardi B gave us the word that our production would be featured on her 2025 Album ‘Am I the Drama’. If this isn’t a reminder to stay down and remain patient I don’t know what is.
•
S/O @crashdummyinc @tm88 @senseikuppe @itsinternationala for believing in me and my sonics. Forever grateful. I would’ve never thought that in our years of collaboration we would win an AMA with Cardi B, get nominated for a Grammy with Future, and go platinum a total of 5 times with ‘I never Liked you’ and ‘Am I the Drama?’. by @daanmakesbeats
