Lenovo sent me the new ThinkVision M16 to check out, and I was immediately curious because I use the 14-inch version almost every day. The extra screen space makes multitasking, editing, working while travelling, or setting up at a café much easier, while the slim design keeps it genuinely portable. If your laptop screen often feels cramped, this could be a very useful second display to keep in your bag. Moto has a new spider... I mean smartphone coming! Its the best one the've made in years but we still don't know everything about it. Motorola has revealed just enough of the Signature 27 to keep us interested: a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, 200MP periscope camera, Bang & Olufsen audio and a weird but bold new design. Beats 360 after the first 24 hours - Initial thoughts 👉🏻
• Comfort: Under 300g, with large ear-cups that completely cover my ears. Even after a 3+ hour editing session, the headband didn’t create uncomfortable pressure.
• Sound: Exactly the bass-heavy sound you’d expect from Beats.
• Battery: I started at 75% straight out of the box and finished at 54% after more than three hours of editing. A promising first result.
• Cushions: They’re easy to remove and swap. The performance-knit material grips well, but it feels a little rough against the ears.
• Build: The earcups are plastic, while the headband is metal. Overall, they still feel well made.
• Portability: The cups rotate flat, so they should slip into a backpack without taking up too much space.
• Controls: The physical buttons feel good, but there’s no automatic play/pause when you remove the headphones.
• In the box: No charging cable—which feels stingy on an AED 1,300 pair of headphones.
Overall: A good first 24 hours. I’m comfortable in them, I like the look, and I’m pretty happy so far. What should I test next? by @daantalks
