What a mesmerising eve. 🌄

Riding here with Sky with the silky soft breeze in my face, finding the spot by the sea, unfolding the tarp, and just taking it in for an hour. The subtle sound of the water. The warm tones of the sand. The utterly deep colours in the sky as the sun sets very slowly.

A moment to feel, a moment to connect with memories, and a moment to just appreciate life. by @daanyoom

The first week with Sky is a fact! Dialed her in a bit and got used to her delicious cornering qualities very quickly. I think she looks & sounds great, too! Unreal that this thing is 27 years old.
And beyond the fun qualities, Sky has immediately proven her worth as the practical backup bike. Raven has an oil leak that needs addressing. I'm careful with riding Raven too much until that's sorted.

All that being said... Raven remains my absolute number one. I rode her for a couple of hours on Friday, and she just digs stupid deep into the soul, every single time again. I'm sure that does not make sense for anyone who doesn't ride, but you'll have to believe me: it's a thing!

Thankful that both of these classic units somehow made their way onto the timeline of my life. 🥰

May I introduce: Sky!

A 1999 YZF-R6 in that iconic Yamaha blue, which is beautifully protected under a special coating.

Sky is my daily whenever Raven (my R1) is under maintenance, and vice-versa. And I will definitely bring her out when I want to devour some tasty corners!
The R1 is quite good at dancing through them, but the R6 takes corners so incredibly smoothly. Like a hot knife through butter 🤤

I wasn't planning on getting a second bike so soon. But the stars somehow aligned and here we are! I'm very grateful for this moment in life 🥰

All of that beauty. AND a gorgeous sunset! 😜

It's so incredibly nice to take your motorbike to a place like this, park her alongside the grass, and use her as a comfy bench to sit on and gaze at the sky. Then, after some gazing and life reflection, you get to experience some soul-nurturing sounds/curves/torque while you make your way home.

I feel a happy, warm, fuzzy feeling every time I step off this majestic thing. It's like I'm glowing like a lightbulb. I wish everyone their source of lightbulb fuzziness. 🥰
