Hi, I'm Lisa.

I'm the Co-Founder of Dabbl', the Founder of People Finders Personnel, and a proud mom to my 21-year-old son.

I've spent almost 30 years in recruitment, helping businesses find great people and helping great people find careers they love.

Fun fact... before recruitment, I actually wanted to be an actress. 😄 But I quickly realized I preferred a steady paycheque over auditions, so here we are!

Over the years, I've learned that recruitment has never really been about resumes, it's about people. It's about listening, building trust, and finding solutions that work for everyone.

That's exactly why Cindy and I started Dabbl'.

We kept seeing talented, experienced professionals who wanted flexibility without giving up meaningful work. At the same time, businesses needed experienced support but didn't always need another full-time employee.

We knew there had to be a better way.

Dabbl' was built to bridge that gap, connecting businesses with experienced professionals who can make a real impact through flexible, part-time work.

As a mom and someone who's spent my career helping people navigate work, I know life doesn't fit into one neat box. Work shouldn't have to either.

I'm excited to help shape a future of work that's more practical, more human, and works better for everyone.

Hi, I'm Cindy.

I'm a mom to an amazing six-year-old, a two-time founder, and the Co-Founder of Dabbl'.

I was born in Taiwan, my family immigrated to Vancouver when I was 5 years old. I was raised by hardworking immigrant parents who taught me the value of resilience, perseverance, and creating opportunities for yourself. They launched a successful import business and put 3 kids through university, without a good grasp on the English language, still!

For a long time, my career was a huge part of my identity. I loved building businesses, helping companies grow, and I wasn't afraid to work hard... sometimes a little too hard. Burnout became something I pushed through because I thought that's what success looked like.

Then I became a mom. Having my daughter completely changed my perspective. I felt torn and didn't want to choose between building a meaningful career and being present for my family. And I knew I wasn't the only one feeling that way.

At the same time, I was talking to founders who needed experienced talent but didn't necessarily need another full-time hire.

That's why Dabbl' was created. It came from a tension that women feel every day in the workplace once they have a child. We believe the future of work should give businesses access to incredible talent while giving experienced professionals the flexibility to build careers that fit their lives, not the other way around.

I'm excited to help build a future where work is more flexible, more human, and works for everyone.

Get the degree.

On Sept 24, Cindy had the honour of emcee-ing the Women in Leadership Luncheon in Hamilton hosted by @hamiltonchamber Chamber and @ywcahamilton

It taught her that when you get a room full of powerful women, we are inspired and start to impact change. We discussed some big topics like motherhood, importance of women in leadership, advancing gender equity and how we can truly support each other.

Then Cindy got to moderate a powerful panel with @mahsarezaeicom, Wanda McKenna, Dr. Evgueniia Doudareva talking about how women need to have a seat at the table to help shape the direction of AI in the workforce.

The math has never added up for moms.

School drop-off at 8:30. Pick-up at 3. Twelve weeks of school holidays a year. And a workplace that still expects you at your desk from 9 to 5 as if none of that exists.

Moms are expected to squeeze an entire life into a schedule that was never designed for them, and then made to feel like they’re the problem when something inevitably has to give.
