Happy Birthday to #StevieWonder 🐐💐🌷🌻

“Overjoyed” today for the birthday of the one and only Stevie Wonder 🎹✨ …because some songs don’t age, they just keep teaching us how to feel.💐🌟

When music and medicine collide, magic happens! That’s exactly what went down at the grand reopening of Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas to another great SOLD OUT crowd at the BOK Center in Tulsa with Old Crow Medicine Show! Medicine never sounded so goooood!! It was beyond amazing. A perfect mix of therapeutic and electrifying energy. Shoutout to my cousin Danté for the invite & to @crowmedicine. You guys rock!! I’m still on cloud nine! Dreams really do, come true.

Alright, let’s do this! Now, y’all might notice my mouth barely moves when I sing. 😂 That’s because so much of my vocal technique is rooted in placement and resonance. Over the years, I’ve developed a kind of muscle memory for where I need to place my voice to find different notes, tones, and textures in a song.

I can feel where the sound needs to resonate, and my body just knows where to go. Vocal mechanics can sound a little wild when you try to explain them, but for me, it’s really about feeling the placement and letting the voice do what it’s trained to do!

Okay Pt.3’s Pt.2 of they said I should post myself singing more.
Hope this counts! Should I take requests? Someone said they wanted me to do some oldies.
