New G! I had been gshock-less for a couple years, they just felt so big compared to my (god tier) F91w. However I always missed the tide function!

Well I discovered the GLX-S5600 and S5610— the Small version of the classic GLX-5600 — and it’s a bit more wearable than the standard square, both in diameter and thickness. Still kinda chunky compared to F91 but it’s an improvement.

One big drawback to this “small” square: the stock resin strap curves aggressively — it’s definitely made for smaller or more round wrists. But thanks to some 16mm-to-20mm strap converters, now I can use any 20mm strap I want!

This model is the GLX-S5610-2, and while the color is definitely eye catching, the best part is the muted blue sunburst section surrounding the digital screen. It really catches the light, such a nice luxury touch on a $100 watch. The screen is very clear as well, viewable from practically any angle. Still not sure now Casio makes it all pencil out at such a reasonable price, truly an amazing feat. by @dad.watch

New mod! This a REAL DIRT DIAL, direct from a local baseball field, with glued-on indices from a Dagaz dial, all housed in a Seiko Recraft SNKP27. The dial end up being thick and I just couldn’t get a second hand working. Oh well, Play Ball!

Such a banger! So easy to just keep wearing, especially the finely adjustable bracelet in the summer heat. If only it had Seiko-level lume! Dial swap too sacrilegious?? 👹 by @dad.watch

New watch! Serica 4512, OG handwound version. Always been keen to check Serica out and wow, sooo nice. Inky black dial, nice vertical brushed case with a polished angle on the bezel, really cool brushed steel hands — I’m feelin’ fancy! Bonklip bracelet is super light and adjustable too. Love my Seikos but this just feels so luxurious 🎩 by @dad.watch
