We laugh because it’s true. Behind every vague note, there’s a client trying to describe a feeling they can’t put into words, and a composer trying to turn it into sound. ISWC → the composition. One per song, from your collecting society.
ISRC → the recording. One per version: the original, the instrumental, the cut-down, the live take.
IPI → you, as a writer or publisher. It goes on every split sheet.

Royalties are matched to people by these codes. Miss one, and the money waits somewhere it can’t find you.

Save this for your next release, and send it to the co-writer who still has “TBD” on the split sheet.

For years I searched for a platform that could keep everything related to my music career in one place. I tried many of them, but something always felt off. I missed having file storage, licenses, easy sharing, a portfolio, my personal website and a collaboration board for clients, all in one space.

So I decided to build it myself. It took three years to understand what it should really be, and recently it all came together.
