Growing up, my brother and I used to imitate this man in the back garden. His bowling action. His batting trigger. That stance at the crease. We went to the same school he did and as kids, that alone felt like something.

Friday, I sat across from him with a microphone.

The @jacqueskallisfoundation Golf Day at @westlakegolfclub was one of those days that’s hard to put into words. Not just because of who was in the room, but because of what the Foundation has built and is building. Real work. Real kids. Real lives changing.

Being there, covering the day, speaking with legends who have shaped this country’s sporting soul... it quietly confirms I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

A lot of content coming from this day. Some of it you won’t see coming.

This has been a huge highlight for DADACTIVE SPORTS to kick the year off.

It was great to have a team active at the @sunshinetourgolf as well as have an opportunity to test ourselves at a fast paced environment.

We look forward to many more events like this. Where we get to do what we love, in environments we love and engaging with all types of people.

First Highlight of the year ✅

The JP21 Foundation and organisations like QuadCare are doing work that people never hear about.

Behind the scenes in quiet rooms with people in situations that feel completely hopeless and they are turning those situations into real success stories every single day. JP describes it best in our interview and we won’t spoil it but it hits home for me and us.

For @dadactivesports this has always been about more than cameras and content. It’s about telling stories that are purposeful.

From sports broadcaster to our videographer, photographer and drone operators on site every single one of us felt the weight and the privilege of being trusted with a day like this.

To @jpduminy and the entire @jp21foundation team thank you for having us. We do not take this for granted for one second

…As a little boy from Lansdowne, we dreamed of moments like this.

What a day at the @jp21foundation golf day.

I got to chat and laugh with so many sporting icons and personalities, right out on the course. What a privilege.

@dadactivesports covered the golf action and I was behind the mic and camera for the interviews, from the first tee to the 19th hole.

We have really found our place. Telling the stories of the games we love

The Brian Lara Cricket game. The Gray-Nicolls scoop bat and 501 not out…a world record that still stands.

Three questions. Three moments I will not forget. Swipe through and watch Brian answer every single one of them.

This is what @dadactivesports is about. Real conversations with the people who shaped the game we grew up loving.

From the ground up. 🟢🟡

@David didn't just come through the @jacqueskallisfoundation … he came through it and went all the way to the Springbok Sevens jersey.

That's what this foundation does. It finds the ones with hunger and gives them the platform. David is living proof that when talent meets the right support, the ceiling disappears.
This is why foundations like this matter.
Watch the full reel and tell if you knew David Brits came through the JK Foundation? 👇

@jacqueskallis calls @jarvis_casey the real deal. High praise from one of South Africa's greatest. All eyes on Casey at the @africasmajor at Sun City in December and if Jacques says watch him you watch him.
