A gift for Adrian's 32nd Birthday. I was witness to an evening birth 32 years ago that forever changed my life. I am a better person because of knowing Adrian and his sister Taryn. Much LOVE as I can gather goes to them. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 ##blockisland #Nantucket #artislife #lifeisart by @dadartwork

The mysterious entrance of Cap 'n Seahorse. I've no idea why I used such a horrible piece of scrap paper but sometimes this is where ideas originate or at least they begin to gel. #blockisland #Nantucket #Marinelife #birds #sealife #landlubbers #carnac #bluebill #drawing by @dadartwork

This is how ideas begin. They are horrible & beautiful simultaneously. Success NEVER EVER results from thinking about money, popularity, trends or ego. Success only occurs while the formation of a piece fits into the fucked up jigsaw puzzle of your life, how well it guides your ongoing endeavor to keep expanding your abilities and last but not least, how well a piece "speaks" to your current state of mind. Sometimes they stick and become worked up pieces and other times they fade to the background only to be swallowed up and recycled by a more well developed idea. "Tide after tide may flow and recede leaving life to go on as it was " Peart, 1980's. #creativity #blockisland #Nantucket #seaside #absurdity #nonsenseart #rush by @dadartwork
