DEBBIE DOWNERS music video is up for grabs! The whole thing is ready to see if you follow the link in my bio. We made this video in about two hours and had to cut some primo footage (so I wouldn’t lose my insurance). My friend Todd told me yesterday that the video just looks like a typical Tuesday for me! That’s about right. Directed by: @cooperkenward Edited by: Bob Weisz Super 8 footage: @mamahotdog AND IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH, THERE’S STILL TIME TO GET YOUR VOICEMAIL HEARD BY THE BIG MAN HIMSELF! 📞 1 (844) DAD-FARTD 📞 by @dadcountry

The person at @americanafest who booked Jonny Fritz (@dadcountry ) on the same bill as @theswampdogg tonight at @theblueroomnashville is a bona fide genius. A consummate showman, that was far and away the most entertaining set I have seen all week. And @seansweirdears on lead guitar!?!? A home run. @gar_hole_records #jonnyfritz #dadcountry #seanthompson #americanafest #livemusic by @dadcountry
🎤 JOSHUA HEDLEY - DEBBIE DOWNERS 🎤 Ole Hed tugs on the jock strings of America to address some serious stuff with this one! Thank you for watching. Now can you please help pop pop find his car? 🎤 ERIN RAE - SLOW DOWN 🎤 Watch earth angel Erin Rae perfectly recreate her karaoke performance while preparing for her show @sidthecat last month. I remember when the ‘one take wonder’ sang to dog whistle level pitch when she originally recorded her vocal track for Slow Down. It was also 9:00 am and she hadn’t had her coffee yet. Can anything slow this woman down? Please call her today. Likes are not enough. Her phone number is… Directed and Edited by: Cooper Kenward @cooperkenward Debbie Downers - Karaoke Out now on @gar_hole_records by @dadcountry
🎤 DEBBIE DOWNERS - KARAOKE 🎤 just released! In 2009 I saw Avatar with Deer Tick after a long tour. The movie was whatever but we had Swine Flu and used the time in the AC was a welcomed change from the fever sweats. It was then and there that I decided I needed my own avatar. 15 years later my fever dreams came true! I somehow talked all my friends into covering my own songs for this karaoke version of my record and it is by far the most Tom Sawyer thing I’ve done. It feels like spying on my own memorial service or Jonny Appreciation Party. It’s really quite flattering, even if it is a party that I threw for myself. It’s now impossible to hear these songs any other way than in their karaoke form and I’m so proud of this version, even if I’m not even on it! THIS IS VERSION III OF IV THANK YOUS: Kurt DeLashmet Gar Hole Records Jordan Lehning Nick Shoulders Riley Downing Erin Rae Courtney Marie Andrews Cary Ann Hearst Izaak Opatz Joshua Hedley Vincent Neil Emerson The Lone Bellow Chris Acker Whit Hayward Mama Hotdog by @dadcountry
Watch total heartthrob Chris Acker sing Polished Turd on the new karaoke version of Debbie Downers. Just when you think you couldn’t love him any more… by @dadcountry
DEBBIE DOWNERS (KARAOKE) Out this Friday September 4th “Polished Turd” double single out now ft Vincent Neil Emerson & Chris Acker Link in bio to listen | tracklist and special guests below From Jonny: “I saw Avatar with Deer Tick in Providence, RI in 2009 after an extremely long tour. It wasn’t the best movie but we all had Swine Flu and we did not care. Somewhere in that feverish flu brain I got the idea to have someone else sing my songs for me. I wanted an Avatar too. So right then and there I started figuring out how I would do it. They say that artists are the most innovative minds in the world but I think we get too much credit. I say this because it took me 15 years to realize I could just pay Jordan Lehning to convert my album to midi and then ask my best singing friends to cover my songs for me. The end result being a bizarre tribute style karaoke record of sorts. Here’s what my music could sound like if I just sang a whole lot better. This is my gift to myself - my own lil Avatar and I’m glad to share it with you all too.”  TRACKLIST Debbie Downers ft @joshuahedley Polished Turd ft @vincentneilemerson Hot Chicken Condos ft @neckshoulders Run ft @izaakopatz Tea Man ft @courtneymarieandrews Bikers ft @rileydown Have You Seen Her ft @caryannhearst The Boss ft @thelonebellow Slow Down ft @erinraemusic Midi arrangements and programming by @jordanlehning Cover art by @mamahotdog Album art by @w.stone.tattoo by @dadcountry
